Lionel MESSI, Nicolas OTAMENDI and Gonzalo HIGUAIN all found the back of the net on the weekend.

Argentina and Barcelona’s magical little number 10 scored a brace for Barcelona in their 4-1 win against Villarreal. The two strikes were number 50 and 51 this season for MESSI as he has marks another season where he has scored over 50 goals and becomes the first player to score 50 goals in Europe’s top 5 leagues. MESSI’s two goals were vastly different. The first a fine strike from inside the area with the second being a panenka (chipped) penalty kick down the middle.

Nicolas OTAMENDI scored for Manchester City in their 5-0 win against Crystal Palace. City’s win edges them closer to Champions League qualification for next season.

Gonzalo HIGUAIN scored in a 1-1 draw for Juventus against Torino. HIGUAIN’s goal came in injury time to steal a point in the Turin derby.
