Fernando Gago has been named the new coach of Aldosivi.

Gago will begin working with the club as of Thursday and will have Federico Insua as one of his assistants. Both are former Boca Juniors players and played with the Argentina national team. 2. I’m realy glad Quarta didn’t play fiorentina today.
They re shocking especially at the bk
Likes milenkovic and igor even pezzella
If Quarta played this half his cereer of fiorentina Will be end by today.
Cuse will be easy target for some plugs in here.

    • They were not this bad, but everything succeeded for Napoli, Napoli xG 2,24! only 10 shots and scored 6 goals really? Fiorentina average xGagainst 1,5 per match, they were only a little bit worse against a strong attacking side. Misfortune.

    • Pezella was good in the match even tried to create chances for team as he is the captain of Fiotentina. Just one bad day for Fiorentina nothing more

    • Same thought here, when I saw the score line I thought “please tell me that Martinez Quarta didn’t play” and luckily this can’t be used against him like the Roma game. The good news is that fiorentina in the past three weeks have become more comfortable with using him and are giving him some minutes (even five minutes at the end of the game is a positive change)

  3. A truly classy midfielder, elegant, cerebral and combative, one of my favorites! Too bad about those injuries that ravaged his career.
Regarding his coaching career, well I am intrigued to be honest, if Gago is able to bring half of his footballing IQ unto the next gen he could be a legit great coach in the mold of Gallardo and maybe Heinze.

  4. Defensa y Justicia pass to the final in a high scoring and exciting game, so the winner will be an Argentinian club. It is the first Sudamericana final that has been played between two teams from the same country. A lot of credit to Crespo, the team played well and was effective in attack. It’s no wonder he’s being linked to bigger clubs like Independiente.

    • you guys should really have kept enzo and hector instead of relying on likes of zucculini and pinola. Still surprised the board sent them out like that. both get better every game.

      • I mentioned this at the start of the season. Even Franco Paredes also at Defensa could have been handy. But Ghallardo opted to die with his Rojas, Diaz, Pineal, Ponzio and Zuculini.

      • True. Now I agree with letting young players out on loan to get game time but to the point that we have 3 center backs? Either way we really need to invest in a top level center back. A player like Gianetti would be good. It is also possible that Otamendi would retire at River although that would have to wait

  5. This guy was good. Played at top level and would have achieved way more, if he was not injury prone. He had the uncanny knack of being in the open space. Great at passing between lines and did have a great understanding with Messi.

  6. Interesting news, Aldosivi also played a thriller of a match against Defensa (not with Gago). He is a very young coach though, but maybe it’s good for him to start at a team like this to begin.
