KidultHood (Italy) Posted on 9/20/2013 at 1:13 PM 0 Don't worry my peeps FF will get playing time at some point this season maybe he'll stuck it out at Napoli or go on another season loan somewhere (@Dinucci why would he go to Benfica when Garay and Luisoa have a grip on the two starting position)..But their are a lot of games in a season..The UCL, the Italian league and the Italian cup so hopefully with FF perseverance in training he can get some playing time that's all he need not necessarily starting all the games.. KidultHood (Italy) Posted on 9/20/2013 at 1:06 PM 0 Messipontamia and we got to remember that FF is the only CB in recent time to have scored a goal on a set piece for Argentina..This kid passing is flawless I remember too how he nutmeg a Colombian player right next to his corner flag, he reminds me a bit of Pique on the ball..He also shut down Falcao for the entire time except for that header Falcao had..In the Italy game he kept Chellini under raps on all the set pieces and made a lot of great tackles..I don't know about you guys but I like FF starting for Argentina than Otamendi, not saying Ota isn't great for Porto but the understanding FF has with Garay cant go unnoticed either. Batigol (Hong Kong) Posted on 9/20/2013 at 12:22 PM 2 On fantastic four, they are playing so way individually at club level, at the same time, they have been combining so well through out the qualifiers. Partly it is due to the following:1) higuain & di Maria - Real Madrid 2) aguero & di Maria - world youth cup3) messi & aguero - world youth cup4) messi, di Maria & aguero - Olympic 20085) messi , aguero, higuain, di Maria - World Cup 2010, copa America 2011They have been playing together since young, that's why! Batigol (Hong Kong) Posted on 9/20/2013 at 12:13 PM 0 I do agree that ff and romero are both very good when they are fit.But I think sabella should always assess their form before starting them, instead of blindly start them just becos of their past records. The first goal we conceded against Paraguay was caused by romero, it could be due to his rustiness. asjbest (Indonesia) Posted on 9/20/2013 at 3:49 AM 0 We should not dump Romero or FF. However, Sabella should analyze if lack of playing time will destroy Romero and FF consistency. If they dont get playing time at club level, of course there are something wrong with them, since the club coach examines the players every week carefully. I still believe Otamendi and Cabelerro must be tried at NT. messipontamia (New Zealand) Posted on 9/20/2013 at 1:45 AM 2 You know I watched the most recent Argentina-colombia (the one where pipita got red carded) and I was amazed at how composed and capable federico was, the kid is pure class, not to mention his passing, which was pin point accurate (something that we here at mundo don't give him enough credit for. I also watched the Argentina Bolivia match and Romero was a beast making 3 vital stops in the first 12 minutes .It would be a real tragedy is these 2 lose their edge due to lack of playing time because it would be the NT that is the real loser at the end of the day. Hope they will move come January when the WC is just around the corner. Dinucci (Argentina) Posted on 9/19/2013 at 2:24 PM 0 Fernandez PLEASE to Belfica! Leandro (United States) Posted on 9/19/2013 at 11:25 AM 0 Only thing missing when comparing Higuain to Bati is the thunderous cannon of a long range shot. Higuain has a great shot, but not as much range. But Higuain can actually dribble which is something Bati was not the most silky with.As for Higuain vs Crespo, I already think Pipita is better.@Batigol, I know!! Aguero is an assassin.Best left winger in the world, best central attacker in the world, best supporting attacker in the world, best right wing / false #9 player in history, top 3 central defensive midfielder and a player that was molded to fill in the gap created by this magical constellation, a coach that can glue it together. Up front we are wicked good... can the back hold? .. Leoaimar (India) Posted on 9/19/2013 at 9:58 AM 0 ansaldi had a good game yesterday..deserves to be in NT startin 11. atlast higuain broke the shackles against the big guns..napoli game really suits pipita..nice move Emon (Bangladesh) Posted on 9/19/2013 at 8:43 AM 0 @yoYesterday I watched Ansaldi playing against Athletico Madrid, for me he is 10x better then Rojo. Rojo cannot defend. Seballa shouldn't call Rojo for the World Cup. He should choose Basanta and Ansaldi as a Right Back. Johnny (United States) Posted on 9/19/2013 at 6:41 AM 0 Yes, Romero and Fernandez not getting time is a major negative for the NT. It'll be interesting to see how/if Sabella addresses it. Batigol (Hong Kong) Posted on 9/19/2013 at 6:37 AM 0 FF and Romero both have not played a single minute.. Abs (United States) Posted on 9/19/2013 at 4:37 AM 0 @KidultHood:The problem is, even Canavaro not playing, so I don't think Rafa have any plans to give FF any minutes. He should've loaned out just for playing mins, and now it is a must in January !! yo (Malaysia) Posted on 9/19/2013 at 3:09 AM 0 we have a strength compound in the middle to front. We just have to compose such a solid back line before fly to Brazil....alternative back line for SabellaZabaleta------garay----FF-----Rojo :)Campagnaro----garay---FF----Rojo :)Zabaleta----garay---otamendi---Rojo :) Zabaleta------garay----FF-----Ansaldi :)Zabaleta------garay----FF-----Basanta :)Zabaleta------garay----Coloccini-----Rojo :)Vergini/Gino Peruzzi/Matias Rodriguez -just to considered Amlan (Bangladesh) Posted on 9/19/2013 at 2:56 AM 0 FF should protest and get out of Napoli this summer. I wish he was in Barcelona. He needs to play and Barcelona needs a tall young defender...so.... SulaV (Canada) Posted on 9/19/2013 at 1:17 AM 0 @batigolif i had to choose between garay and fferdz i would go for fedrico... pablo.d (New Zealand) Posted on 9/19/2013 at 1:08 AM 0 ive said it before hig will become one of the great strikers for the n/t and in time we will talk about him as we do about bati or crespo KidultHood (Italy) Posted on 9/19/2013 at 12:36 AM 0 Otamendi played for Sabella already..So lets see what happen though, but I doubt Ota will be playing in the next world cup. asjbest (Indonesia) Posted on 9/18/2013 at 11:52 PM 1 Otamendi has improved now. We should forget 2010 since it was 3 years ago. Player can be improved and should be given a chance. Just a chance, if he does not play well, then NT can drop him. KidultHood (Italy) Posted on 9/18/2013 at 11:29 PM 0 There is a long way to go in the season saying it is bad news for FF is a far stretch. I rather FF than Otamendi.. Otamendi was the main reason Muller score the first goal vs Argentina at the 2010 wc. Sabella is not trying to revisit that horror. yo (Malaysia) Posted on 9/18/2013 at 11:09 PM 1 should try to pair garay-otamendi. both of them are the key player for their team each. asjbest (Indonesia) Posted on 9/18/2013 at 9:22 PM 1 FF is not playing anymore... bad bad bad.... Sabella should option another CB.... KidultHood (Italy) Posted on 9/18/2013 at 8:18 PM 0 Higuain is the second coming of Batistuta. Batigol (Hong Kong) Posted on 9/18/2013 at 8:12 PM 2 However, I am very happy to see our fantastic four performing so well both for their club and for argentina ...Higuain is playing more and more like batistutaDi Maria has been growing and become a very important player for Madrid , and he kept bale on the bench for this champions league opener.Messi is playing like a legend as usualAguero has surprised me the most. He has been so consistent for both man city and argentina, the premier league winning goal that he scored against QPR 2 seasons ago is still impressing me, how can a man under such pressure in the dying seconds of the match scored that goal with such calmness??The upcoming World Cup is the most optimistic one I have ever felt, I have confidence that I have never had in the past world cups, it has been 20 years, I have never felt it this way. I hope all our players healthy, and I hope my feeling is correct. Kenneth (United States) Posted on 9/18/2013 at 7:58 PM 0 And people say pipita doesn't score from headers! Batigol (Hong Kong) Posted on 9/18/2013 at 7:56 PM 0 F. Fernandez has not been playing for Napoli ... It is quite worrying. If sebella insists to start ff for argentina and he is not match fit...I rather to have garay + coloccini at the backSame for Romero, he has not played for monaco so far.
