GBGT: What if it's Argentina who do it though?
Oscar: "Don't even think about it! Argentina won't win even if hell freezes over! We'd never let them win! [laughs] They're a great team but Brazil won't let that happen."

@el principe: I think it is a good thing that Messi is gutting things out when chemistry is not so good. It prepares for the World Cup. There will be one or two matches where Argentina will have to win ugly, and learning how to play without things flowing perfectly will help him a lot.

I want to make confession. I want to be really really really honest to you. You know what? I really HATE it when Alexis scores.

I have nothing against Alexis or Chileans, but I don't think he has chemistry with Messi.

Sorry Alexis or Chilean fans here..

There were lots of talking behind Messi's form recently but his yesterday's show against Sevilla might have silenced those critics. I hope these kind of performance will soon be ampified in matches to come which will give him more confidence to World's biggest show at Brazil.

We will see if he was taking it easy because of the weather or because that's his general strategy over the next match. The rain put him at risk.

I was really worried for messi with the pitch condition and sevilla players tacking left and right. I'm glad he scored two very important and incredible goals and more importantly he didnt get injured.

Messi seems like he's still holding back a bit though, you can tell Messi is trying to play safe, the ball he passed to Iniesta and I think Pedro or Alexis for them to score, Messi in the pass would have run right through those defenders like he did recently in the CDR game vs Getafe...Messi was still taking it easy in this game, that's my observation..

Messi was unselfish when he pass to Iniesta, he could have easily shoot at goal and I believe there are other instance where he choose to pass instead of shooting..

Anyone noticed the difference when Iniesta is there?

So much for him being out of form. A few better passes from his team mates and a few better finishes he would have racked up a couple of more goals and couple of more assists. He's such a threat either way.....
