Sergio AGUERO scores for Manchester City

While I would have very much liked to have posted that Sergio AGUERo scored during the World Cup, it's a post about AGUERO scoring for Manchester City.

AGUERO came on as a substitute for Manchester City and scored in their 2-0 win against Newcastle.

Sergio AGUERO's goal:

I have the world cup final recorded on my DVR. I have not watched any games and even discussed football since that game, I can't even think of football.
Last weekend, I decided maybe I can watch the game again. I did watch the first 7 minutes until it got to the minute when Messi ran past Hummels but there were nobody to pass the ball to; I got upset and turned the tv off!

I don't know how long it will take me to care about football again.

@Mamoun
Neither of these idiots should be anywhere near the national team. They have each had 2 world cups, with the same result...They contributed NOTHING other.

As Einstein once said, the definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

These two players weren't just a small reason we didn't win the world cup; one could argue they were the overwhelming reason we didn't win the world cup. We hardly gave up any goals in the entire tournament. We never played from behind in 7 games!
These two pieces of shit contributed 1 goal in all those games.
Yeah lets bring them back so they can shit the bed again.

The problem with Aguero and Argentina is not only about his performance in the WC but his general impact. But we fans at least expected him to make a difference at the main event but he was one of the worst players in the entire tournament.

Many of you here who know me know that that I love kun, infact he's my second favorite player after Messi but even I can't defend his form (or the lack thereof) in the world cup. Although it would be unfair to lay the blame solely on the guy because the warning signs were there for everyone to see (he only played 7 games out of 16 in the WCQ if you can believe it!) but we all ignored them hoping that the fab 4 would prevail against all odds.
Also, as much I love and respect Sabella he should shoulder some of the blame for knowingly taking a less than fit kun, although NOT taking kun wouldn't have been much of an option either!

Here are the facts; Kun is one of the best footballers in the world and when it comes to pure skill he's second only to messi.
Kun has stepped up for Argentina many times before such as the game against South Korea in 2010 WC, he scored the equalizer that saved Argentina from massive embarrassment against Bolivia in Copa and ofcourse he scored the winner against Colombia in the WCQ, a game which turned the tides of the entire qualifying campaign for Argentina.
These qualities make Kun hard to replace even if did come up short when it counted, so I propose that he and pipita should be relegated to the bench and will both have to work at re-establishing their starting status for the NT.

I think we should not waste the talents of Aguero thus taking him out of the team, his work in the World Cup was bad and disappointing, it may seem a rather silly comparison, but I remember how Aguero won the world under-20 Olympics and for us playing a spectacular football, I still support, although we should forget the idea that he can make a difference at the same level of Messi and Di Maria (Fab 4).
Has a group of guys on this blog that say the Premier League is overvalued and that many players there front that will and loses his football, I do not know if it's a complete truth but since Kun went to Man city he not is more creative as was before.
About Lavezzi, I think he did a great World Cup, do not understand the fact some were criticizing him so much.

@ arg2014
I agree that Diego Costa was a horrible pace during the World Cup, it actually has features that distinguishable from the rest of the team, i believe that there was not enough time to adapt, but in my opinion Dzeco and Eto'o for example were worst than him.
Interestingly Diego was born and lived a good time near where I live.

100% agree....
I have said exactly the same and I said the same before the w/c nothing but winning is appectable as we are Argentina and finishing 2nd means nothing as there can be only one winner and I hoped it will be us.
I really don't care we ended up finishing 2nd it means nothing to me, for me we failed.

Who cares about Aguero scoring for M.City, it was not the first time he's been scoring for them or winning the league with his wonder goal. Aguero is a flop for Argentina. It's time for him to go. World cup is the most difficult tournament in the world, just few players are able to shine and write their names in history books. Diego Costa scored tons of goals for A.Madrid last season, but he was the weakest striker in the world cup, probably in world cup history.

WHY IN THE WORLD DOES BARCELONA KEEP ON PLAYING MASHERANO AS A DEFENDER? I THOUGHT THIS NEW COACH WOULD GO IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION BUT ITS THE SAME OLD SAME OLD THAT STARTED WITH PEP..I WAS LOOKING FORWARD SEEING MASCHE IN MIDFIELD THEN ITS THE SAME CB BACK POSITION.

ts a LONG way to the next world cup. I am sure some players that we are not even talking about right now will gain prominence and others will fade away as always. The plan has to be to look forward. We can name players but everyone here knows so much of that is speculation. Injuries, form, transfers, NT performance all plays into this.
What I hope Martino understands is this makeup with Messi as the epicenter of every thing we do has now failed in 3 world cups and a south american cup. Sure, Messi will be a part of our future, with an important role, but he can't be the savior. He bailed us out early and nobody showed up at the final, including Messi himself.
The players that have been given multiple chances MUST be phased out or into less critical roles. Others must step up.

One other thing, the Argentina I remember and grew up in doesn't "honor" or celebrate losing. We are a country that expects rightfully so to win EVERY tournament. You don't get half a star on your jersey for being in the final.
Why pay tribute to losing in the final to these players? In the end, they came up short, like every other team.
We were already the oldest team in the last world cup. I for one don't want to see the same old crap rearranged with the same results. You can put lipstick on a pig, but its still a pig.

Icardi iturbe lopez rulli etc. everyone deserves a chance to showcase their talents. If icardi outplays higuain in national jersey, he deserves the spot. The same goes with everyone else. All we need is the perfect blend of youth and experience.

Let's stop this bashing game and give respect to the whole team

@kid, this will be the breakthrough year for Icardi, he didn't score in the preseason because he was playing with a bunch of amateurs wanting to prove themselves, he didn't get any service up front. Like i said Icardi is a world class finisher, he's very very lethal if he gets fed the ball, but he lacks the ability to create on his own like higuain, so we shall see.

@Deb - well said friend.
Lack of a good Central midfielder, the lack of ability to get the ball to Messi in the final third and having him waiting for the ball around the middle, and the lack of a quality bench all were our draw backs.
Even Mourinho, people who know Barca knows how hard Jose can be against anything associated with Barca, went to say that Messi had to go past 2 - 3 lines, which is impossible, when marked by 2 or 3 players.

Sometimes, our love for the team gets so crazy, we lose reason. Even my brother is bashing Messi all the time, as if DeMaria, Pipita, Kun, Palacio all did their best. Look at De Maria, he was the real champion in CL. What did he really do in the WC, losing about 51 balls in just one game, if he do that in RM, he will grace the bench. He lost all his energy by the end of season. If we have to bash, we can pick something with every body, but whats the use now. I am sure no player didnt want to lose in the final. Even Germanys squad players would have kept the ball better than our first team!!! With the 2 etimes, we were clearly tired for another one in the final.

And I say this with lot of sadness (I was his biggest fan, from when I was 12 years during 86WC, until he became the coach of NT), I hate Maradona as a person. He is nearly like a mirror image of Pele, only thinking about protecting his glory. At least Sabella took us to final. You were a shame during 2010WC Deigo.

Kun plays well with his club at PL but doesn't have level for international game. We don't need his profile in NT. He's not fast, his dribbling skill is very average(less good than Lavezzi or Higuain), he's not creative and versatile enough. I really don't see any future with him in NT. Argentina should play with 1 forward, Messi and 1 number 10 behind them. Here's my squad: Romero - Zabaleta, Garay, Mussachio, Rojo - Perez, Maschereno, Di Maria - Pastore - Messi, Higuain

Higs and Aguero have been given 2 wc. Do we want to give them a third chance? I dont care how big they are for their clubs and how much they score for non NT matches. I am only interested in players who are willing to die for the NT, a classic example is Masch. He does not possess the talent of some of our players but he will give everything he has. I cannot see Higs or Aguero dying for the country, they would rather count the euros they earn. Pick Icardi or Iturbe or any other player, I dont care, i want players who try and if we still lose, so be it. If we have 5 players like Masch the wc is ours.

Everybody here is bashing at higgy now. The final loss hurts, but i still believe the whole team contributed to our first semifinals after 24 years. The world cup as a whole is a 3 year process including the qualifiers. Can anyone forget aguero's and higuain's contribution in those matches when they were at full swing? We were all singing praise about higuain after the belgium game! Even me too is angry at higuain for wasting argentina's best moment since 1986. But that's destiny, if di maria, gago, kun and higuain were all full fit by the wc, we would've emerged the clear winners in the wc. There are people who are wrecking havoc on gago, but i wont forget how instrumental he was in our fast and fierce counter attacks during the wcq's. I repeat, it hurts, but we got to move on and cheer for the albicelestes wherever they're playing because argentina is the reason i started watching the game and still following it. So let's wish tata all the best and keep all our trust in him. Afterall, these lads has made us believe in our team. I thank Alejandro Sabella for building such a team. Thank you sabella. Thanks to each and every player and staff who gave their best right from the qualifiers. We're back on top of the football world after 24 years. Now, let the same 23 show the germans and the whole world that it was pure luck which helped them win. LEO can still win 2 more wcs for us. BELIEVE!! VAMOS ALBICELESTE!

thanks pablo, mine is pretty simple, and just obvious it's my favorite that sabella left at home, or didn't give a chance, and not taking it to brazil:

gk: caballero; romero + younger ones. (i still want to see how caballero will do at the international level; he's the beast at club level, but we don't know how is he on international level, but my guess, he will be tremendous if given a chance to prove it).

def: zaba/peruzzi, mussachio/lopez, garay/fazio, rojo/ansaldi. i've seen not much wrong in this position, sabella did a great job fixing it after the worst era. brought zaba, garay and rojo is his best work at the nt.

mid: mascherano, maria, gaitan/perez, pastore, biglia/banega, iturbe. yes, some older faces stays there, but i would like to see gaitan and pastore there, and give a chance to the young such as iturbe to develop his talent.

fwd: messi, higuain, icardi pretty much like you, i would also love to see messi and higgy both with youngster icardi upfront, and maybe we can still put there kun as a sub and hopefully one more new young talent as back up.

my 23:
gks: romaro and rulli,

def:
rojo, zab, gar, demi, Lisandro Lopez, mussichino, Gino Peruzzi

mid:
mash, past, lam, perez, di maria, biglia, Ezequiel Cirigliano(river plate) ocampus
lav I will try to convert into a winger and see if it works as he is not a striker at n/t level.

messi, hig, icardi,
my wild card strikers from (2 would be picked to make the squad 23)
Rodrigo De Paul, mori (river) or Facundo Ferreyra (Velez Sarsfield) or Ezequiel Rescaldani – Velez Sarsfield who is 6 ft 3.

for me this is a friendly game and their should be some experience players, some with a lot of potential and the odd wild card/youth prospect who will hopefully benefit from the n/t set up and really up their game as they should want to be called back (who wouldn't).

i still believe in higuain. he is the most passionate striker we have since some 2 world cup ago. that's why i want him as the first team that tata should be working on from now. but in the meantime i also want to see some good young talent as a good subs for him. to me, it would be a total loss if we completely ignore pipita in the next copa and even in the next wc 2018.
for the forward, it is a must that we keep messi and higuain together until 2018. at the same time we should be looking forward and given chances to 2-3 young talents as well. we can't be too proud anymore about the fab4; messi/maria/kun/higuain, we have to sacrifice one of them, sit them on the bench or something, and lets build a new death squad; messi, maria, pipita and a new soldier. if tata is bright enough, he should see the flaw in sabella's player selection and bring some new names in his squad.
c'mon guys, at least higuain is the one who brought us to the semi after some 24years losing at the quarter, don't you forget that!!

The reason I will always be angry with Sabella is because of how he deprived Messi of his usual position on field in 2014. And played him in regions from where he could do NOTHING.

The reason he grew more and more fatigued during the tournament was more psychological than physical. He had saved himself for this tournament even keeping his league and club at stake. This was his dream. And then finally, he doesn't even have the ball at his feet for most part of all the matches. Ridiculous.

Just watch the Netherlands match. The first time Lionel Messi could touch the ball literally was in the 9th minute. Believe that? And that too near the halfway line. That's the whole story of the world cup. He kept waiting and waiting, and got tired more and more. Argentina somehow kept progressing (defending with 7 men all the time, and nobody could leave Messi behind and attack us all-out), but the Messi factor had disappeared by then.

Where was a central midfielder who could hold balls and link, so Messi could be propelled higher up the pitch? Why did the best finisher in the modern game have to drop down to midfield every time to create an attack? Couldn't we have done that in 2018 with a 31-year old Messi? 2014 was Messi's world cup, and all Sabella did was to deploy him to some playmaking role with 2 idiots to finish up front. And with nobody in midfield to partner with Messi.

Utter bullshit. I know Martino will address this, but it will be too late. It's difficult at 31.

The worst feeling is Messi made all his sacrifices all the team, his team went to the finals, he himself got the Golden Ball. But still, everywhere it is being written that he had a disappointing world cup. And you know what, people are not wrong. Everyone wanted Messi to play like Messi. But Sabella used him like a well-placed pawn on the chess board to ward off oppositions. While Messi is a queen who can do everything possible and even kill off enemies with his superb finishing. The world cup could never witness that.

We need at least 2 good finishers in our NT now. Not an overrated midget like Aguero or someone line Higuain who would never perform in pressure matches.

We need tall and fast strikers. With clinical finishing skills. We don't need dribblers, we have plenty of them. We need more poachers. Who look less spectacular but will always finish decent chances.

Icardi is one. We need more.

Kidulthood: a good striker would have taken his time to finish the chance higuain missed, also the offside goal he could have avoided that situation by delaying his move little bit and it would have been legal goal instead he rushed and went in front of the defender, those things are the basics and gonzalo higuain is struggling with it, forget about liking indivuals we don't care about them we care the team, don't hate on icardi if he can bring something different to the team after all he is argentine and we need to win cups copa and the 2018 worldcup, IMO he is the most lethal pure striker argentina has, when I say pure striker I mean in the mold of batistuta, falcao, brazilian ronaldo those kind of pure goal scorers

kh: correct their is no one who could have done what di maria had done for us in the past but no matter what as a manager you always have some kind of back up plan/player/plan b and alv was not it.

sabella had one of the worst injury runs a manager could have ask for but he then let him self down by planning really poorly for it as ive said we knew messi was recovering, gago was bad, hig and kun has probs in jan 2012 all had injury concernes and their was plenty of time to look at other options to replace or cover-we did neither.

I have to add di maria before he got injured in this w/c he was poor (1 goal aside and 30 good mins), perhaps he simply had run out of steam thanks to the long and hard season he had.
if you set as higher standards as di maria has for us in the past then this w/c was not his usual standard.

There is no better upcoming striker then icardi, he might have of field issues like wanda and those kind of nonsense things but he is the best youngster, he is lethal and has killer instinct something higuain doesn't have, higuain did cost us two cups already, I remember him missing easy chances v Uruguay in copa and now he did it in the final, he has been missing chances with his clubs far too long but we don't care that, but we care about argentina, Icardi is right now the best pure goal scorer argentina has, feel free to tell me any one better

kh: as I said ones back ups must always be thought of as possible starters and lav (who I did not have a prob of him in the team despite an ordinary season) but the stats of 60 games and 12 goals (psg)at the time does not fill me with confidence.

as for pal he has never convinced me at n/t level and never will, he was a wasted space and again I would have moved lav into the mid, effectively we were 2 strikers down.
sure no one expected the injuries to the best 2 we had before the w/c started but their was plenty of warning as kun was having problems in jan 2014 and hig was out 4-5 weeks before the w/c and we did plenty of friendlies over the last year to try new possible options, we did not.

messi score all the important goals for argentina to move forward from the group stage, created 2 chances for winning goals (maria/higuain), scored his penalty at crucial times, been surrounded by 60 players the whole tournament, and people want to bash him after his missed in the final, does that chance has a better angle for him to have a clear shot at goal??? the answer is no. you can give that similar chance to messi again and again, or both ronaldo's, zidane, ronaldinho, or maradona 5 times and more, still i don't see anyone scoring.

Sabella selected a strong squad, our guys just flunk on the big stage, like they flunk during the last three Copa America we should have won..Sabella did everything, the team let him down..These guys scored the most goals for club and country in both 2012 and 2013. So what happen in 2014 when we need them the most? Its a mental thing with our players both young and old...

Argentina for many years always have the best strikers but they never deliver at the world cup..Crespo and Batigol all failed at the world cup too..The thing is, these guys scored a bunch of goals in qualifier too.

lav has an attitude as well, in fact you could cull a lot of the team then.

messi did miss and in his defence it was a tight angle but I cant understand why he did not go closer to nauer but messi at least did get us through the 1st 4 matched almost single handily so for me he still gets a pass mark over all.

Palcio is not a fan favourite , he brought to the NT especially because of his tireless attitude. yes his goal conversion ratio is poor . But he adds different dimension to our attack.

icardi...? you guys thinks that would have happened..? that kid has to correct his attitude first.

And messi missed a golden chance too in the final well i can start bash him too...

Guys that WC was not meant for us , germans were drilled for this WC for years. But we will prevail we have to continue work on this foundation laid by sabella and tata has to fill the dreams of 2018 to our players right from the beginning. we can win 2018 WC.

a lot of people (if i remember them; arg2014, pablo d etc) here don't mind about bringing kun and higuain to world cup (even if they're injured and not in form). the only thing people ask for is the proper subs for them. am i the only one who ask for icardi as the best back up for aguero and pipita??? i don't think so, but most people here agree to see lavezzi and palacio in the team and what this 2 have contribute in brazil???? palacio missed at least 3 important chances (group match against iran, the netherlands match and the most important, he missed a chance in the final), lavezzi most people known him in the world cup for his stupid action towards sabella, and the only good he did for argentina was when he's running like hell towards germany and pass the ball to higuain for the offside goal. i hope tata won't pay attention to this two clowns anymore.

Manchester United prepare $170 million for Angel Di Maria signing..

http://prosoccertalk.nbcsports.com/2014/08/17/manchester-united-preparing-100-for-angel-di-maria-signing/

Wow Di Maria! wow! just wow!!!I never like Man United but I wouldn't mind this move for Maria..He will finally become the undisputed star of his club..His shirt sales will sky rocket in no time..If Di Goes through with this move he will become one of football biggest star on the planet..Don't get me wrong, he's already a star, he just doesn't get the recognition he deserves, this move will surely propel his cause..

Amlan: Truly an awesome comment from you..Nice write up..

The thing is, people here are forgetting how they were reacting to Higuain and Aguero injury before the world cup..

I did not here one single person on this forum saying Higuain and Aguero should not go to the world cup yet they knew they were coming off injuries leading up to the world cup..

So now its Sabella fault for picking Higgy and Aguero?Higgy, the man who scored a hat trick at the 2010 wc, the same man who scored 9 goals during the 2014 wcq qualifiers, while missing like 4 other games on the way..How could Sabella leave Aguero off the wc cup squad? Which coach would have done that? Its not like Aguero was an amputee.

We are all mad and angry about the result at this summer world cup, what can we do now..Argentina was just not meant't to win the world cup PERIOD..We can talk about this and that all we want..Crespo should have been there, Batigol should have been there, blah blah blah, it was not meant to be..I've moved on now, looking towards the future, hoping for a better tomorrow.

Amlan: gatlin was one possible better option then alv but remember sabella really did not use friendlies to test players as he really had his squad sorted in his mind, he had his team he was taking no matter what.

no i did not support alv and lamela was out injured most of the season and he was never an option.

as for the hig and kun, well kun spent as many games playing as not playing for city and was obviously not in good shape in the last games for city but i understand why he took them as any coach would but then to take both lav and pal as backups was crazy as neither have any sort of goal scoring record at n/t level.
lets not forget about the injured gago who was also injured but not replaced.

i said before the w/c and still say the same now your backups could be your starters at any time and a coach must always be thinking of that when selecting any team.

i don't care anymore about kun. he's my favorite before the world cup. now, to me, he's just another argentina player. nothing more to it. i want to forget 85% about sabella squad. i'm looking forward to new players that maybe tata will call soon. if tata call this players, i will support him 100%, and will say now we have a great team:
caballero
peruzzi
lisandro
mussachio
ansaldi
gaitan
pastore
ocampos
iturbe
icardi

he don't have to call every new players, but some of this will make the squad balance alongside romero, zaba, garay, rojo, mascherano, biglia, messi, maria and pipita.

"sabella has to take the blame for

A:taking some of the injured/unfit players and
B:not having any backups for them or di maria."

Pablo:

Could you leave Aguero and Higuain just before world cup? It was not that like they were ruled out of the world cup. But they had some knocks. But still Aguero and Higuain were injured a number of times during the world cup qualifiers. Then they responded back very well after recovery.

Sabella did take back up for Di Maria. Ricky Alvarez. We all supported that. Now Ricky did not play well, for which Sabella could not be blamed. Ricky/Lamela were the best back ups for Di Maria. Lamela was injured. So, Sabella took Ricky.

Amlan: you cant say the fab 4 idea flopped as it was the fitness/injuries of the fab 4 that failed as the fab 4 when fit has worked in the past to perfection but having players who were injured/unfit was always going to be a gamble and with no plan b for them in case they did not recover in time seemed to be poor.

sabella has to take the blame for

A:taking some of the injured/unfit players and
B:not having any backups for them or di maria.

Yes, agree, Kun was so fit, fast, sharp and fresh in the City game last night. Turning his body all round, while a month ago he could not move even his legs and kick the ball for N/T. And, Kun, will score in next friendly game against Germany

Tata needs to have a sharper eyes and good feeling to look at the fresh players he select for N/T.

One thing was clear from this world cup. You can't play Aguero and Higuain in the same squad unless you want two poachers in the same squad. Aguero has turned into a poacher from a dribbler.

In this world cup the fantastic four idea flopped big time. But thank God, Sabella figured that out at the earlier stages of the world cup and acted accordingly. I feel so sorry for Sabella, because the attacking department that made him rich before the world cup proved that he was actually mediocre (or poor !!) in that department. It is not his fault in selecting those players. Those players Aguero, Higuain helped him to qualify. So, how could he not select them. Just before the world cup if any body told me to drop Aguero or Higuain I would slap him hard.

Credit goes to Sabella that he had realized that he had actually less resources in attack given that 2/3 players in that department were out of form or injured. So, he focused on defence and midfield. I can't believe how the hell did he manage to improve our defensive side given that small amount of time.

I would say in the first half of the tournament Argentina depended on Messi but in the knock out stages Argentina depended on none other than the coach, Alecsandro Sabella.

Hat's off Sabella.

Honestly it doesn't matter to me how many goals he's scored or he will score for city. He was very disappointing for the NT and that's what matters to me. So I'll judge him by how he performs for the NT rather than the bags of goals he scores for city. And that goes to all the players not just him. He can score as many goals as he wishes for city but if he doesn't perform for the NT then he's useless don't you think?

Aguero deserves the abuse he is getting from the fans, I never thought he will flop like that , we will see what tata does but aguero doesn't deserve a call up. Untill he understands the meaning of playing his country

@san insidro
2 brilliant posts! I wish I could clicked on the kudos few more times.

I come from the school of thought that it's the players who play in the field, not the coach, not the football federation chairman, or FIFA chief etc. those are excuses. Sabella had a plan! With a relatively weak defense, he wanted to cover that better. Before the World Cup all said, if Argentina has to win the WC then they have to win each game like 5-4, 4-3 etc. his game plan was to win 1-0 and he implented that with a bang. No one saw it coming. Not the opponents, nor us over here! So to say he failed and did not have a plan is a failure to see what happened and what was expected.

Do I like Sabella's 1-0 philosophy? Probably not! Did Sabella make any mistake during the WC? Yes, the Aguero sub in the final for example. But he got most of the things right and he is not as stubborn as I thought! He was quick to realize 5-3-2 is not working against Bosnia. He was quick to realize Federico is not working.

If there is any reason Argentina did not win WC it is failure of Messi, Higuain and Palacio in the final. Probably they choked.

Finally, there is something that keeps coming back to mind - People are going crazy over Kroos these days. Can you imagine what will be his situation in media today if Higuain would have taken that back pass header from Kroos and scored?

I am a bigger Messi and Higuain fan than I am a Sabella fan. But I should be a man enough to accept that it's my favorite players who failed to get Argentina the WC and not the coach or Grondona or FIFA or the referees.

Another wait begins!

"I mean how many damn chances do you need to put it in the back of the net"
very true but what really got me even more angry is they did not even get any of them on target, keepers can make saves but none of those 3 shots made the keeper do any thing and but laugh and that is not acceptable for strikers who are paid more in a week them most of us earn in years of work.

San Isidro: im pleased to read you too are angry as i have been in previous posts in the last few threads.

im also really against tito's 1s team he has apperantly selected for the ger friendlie as it seems he wants to pay homage to that entire squad of 23 because they deserve "respect" for what they did....whaattttt the

In the end, all of us take pride in the albiceleste, but I'm over these chokers. I don't want to see him again in a nt uniform, neither Higuain. I mean how many damn chances do you need to put it in the back of the net? The whole argument about midfield connection is bullshit. In league play they get one chance in this case he came in the second half and he scores. Where I come from when you can't do it for your NT it's called choking. From where I see it this guy is nothing but a media hog, and doesn't have the balls when it counts. There hasn't been a day that i don't think about how many goals we pissed away in the final. A bunch of fame whores that are useless as tits on a bull when it counts.
The loss will be with me forever, I'm sure this loser has forgotten about it already as he doesn't have the mental capacity to understand the magnitude of what slipped away.

As an avid Mundo fan, I could give a rats ass what this guy does for city. Frankly, you can stick him in the Tevez pile for me. His contribution to the Albiceleste was his constant selfies he took every 5 minutes. As this site is called Mundo ALbiceleste and not Mundo Man City, I could care less what he does for his club. In my eyes, he let down his country in the worst way.
I know you have a job to do, but I would suspect many people feel the same way I do about this mercenary. The same goes for Higuain who screwed up more goals than I care to remember.

im as annoyed at kun at the w/c as most of us but it has to be noted its not like he had chance after chance that he missed during the w/c.
reality is (as we have discussed here)their was a distinct lack of connection between the mid and the strikers leaving the strikers with little to no chances per game.
