Everyone read

I don't know where all this sudden negativity is coming from. Is Argentina playing to their full potential? No they aren't. Are they the worst team at the World Cup? No they aren't.

This is the last warning I will be issuing to everyone here. Attack someone personally, call them an idiot and you will get banned on the spot, no hesitations.

If you think someone is trolling, contact us. Today alone (and it's not even 1:00PM where I live), I have received 3 messages from 3 different people.

Everyone is welcomed here and we all have our own opinions, but do try and stay positive. If everything you have to say is negative (despite the team winning), I ask as an owner of this website, please, refrain from posting. Take a step back and evaluate things. The team didn't get eliminated in the group stages and the world isn't ending. Some people should remember that before posting.

I don't like to ban people but like I said, any name calling will result in an automatic ban.

Thank you,

Roy.

@Rahat. Similar to Reddit? I've been thinking about creating a subreddit for Argentina fans. Their commenting system is much more organized and easier to follow especially when a person is specifically replying to another person or to the original post. If a post is irrelevant or disrespectful it can get down voted by any member. Even a forum layout would work better than this current system. The admins of this site should really improve on this given how popular this site is. Please please do something about this.

"i want to suggest if maybe the admins should put a thumbs down button and maybe when the posters reach 100 dislike about his/her post, then they will not get a benefit as mundo's to post anything here."

@Travis, I totally agree with u in this regard.

travis is spot on.
we dont want to create an untrue fantasy but a true reality. the truth hurts some times. i can be honest and say, di maria is getting to form, mash is a monster is tackling and recovering the ball but passes hit n miss, messi awesome, romero decent, but also honest saying aguero/hig been shit with gago and zaba

i want the team to improve as we get to the ko stage

Dear Roy thanks for the notice. I fully agree that none should attack someone personally, or abuse verbally.

But as a fan of Albiceleste, I think I can say what i observe and feel about the upside and downside of the team.

I have been Argentina fan since The Maradona-miracle of Mexico '86.I have endured all of those disappointments and pains that came through all those 28 subsequent years.

I think As long as one is not personally attacking or verbally abusing someone, he she shall be entitled to his/ her opinions.

True. Argentina Won all of their three group games, and are not the worst of the 32 teams that took part.

But the point is we are not in Brazil for participation. We are there to take the the title and end 28 years of disappointment.

Albiceleste need to learn from their weakness and improve quickly. Three matches at a world cup finals is too much of a chance for that, but I still don't think they took full advantage of that.

Some of the players do not seem to understand what is at stake, they look so "not interested" with their static position and careless passes.OK, we have seen improvements from a couple pf players on the third match, and Sabella should continue to build on that.

On the plus side we have a big one . Lionel Messi.
Vamos Argentina.!!!

Well glad i haven't visited this forum during the world cup, i hadn't read any of the comments and don't plan too. All i gotta say is props to Roy for handling this with elegance, i would've suspended about 30% of the posters here before the world cup started. All i gotta say is VAMOS ARGENTINA and Keep it up Roy Mundo wouldn't be the same without you! ( literally)

i can understand when fifa banned suarez from world cup after what he did on italian player.

but here in mundo, banning people just because they don't agree with other people's opinion?????? banning people who just felt disappointed on their favorite team???????

if the admins here want this blog to be 100% about positivity, then just make it as invited only site.

people came here from different part of the world, with different background, and lifestyle.

people take things differently, according to their own perspective, reasons, knowledge and sensitivity.

sometimes our everyday lives will also reflect who we are. and maybe, just maybe they try to get rid of it all here with all those negative post and opinions. sometimes that kind of posts makes perfect sense and sometimes it's not. sometimes it suggest true fact, sometimes it is not.
of course, any racist, sexist, homophobic remarks should get banned immediately.

i don't mean to be rude or to be smart ass. mundo's is awesome. the friends here are most dedicated, and some are really knowledgeable and intelligent about football in general; elpipita, elprincipe, kid (known as marcos rojo lately), thinker, vickerman, pablo d, gab, baker, outlaw, wow i only name a few regular, of course there's more. but telling people to fuck off from this site just because they post something that you disagree off, it's pretty childish and conservative.
i want to suggest if maybe the admins should put a thumbs down button and maybe when the posters reach 100 dislike about his/her post, then they will not get a benefit as mundo's to post anything here.

I don't get this kumbaya thing , this is a blog and people should have the right to criticize the players if they are underperforming , insulting other bloggers is wrong , but the team and the players are fair game as far as I am concerned

@Roy: the first part of your post is spot-on. the reason i stopped participating here long time ago is because of those people who start talking trash just because they disagree with an opinion.

HOWEVER. your second part cannot be more wrong. when you say "If everything you have to say is negative (despite the team winning), I ask as an owner of this website, please, refrain from posting" you are confusing running a blog with running a dictatorship. Seems all what you want are people agreeing with what you THINK is correct and compliment you all day long!

News Flash:
1- criticizing the team and/or players is called an opinion. you can agree or disagree but it's still called an opinion. I think Sabella is an idiot. I think the team is playing like shit. so what?! does this make you or others better fans? do you even know for how many years I have been supporting this team? do you know how many times in my life I have woke up at 3 am to see matches? do not think (and others) that you are better fans just because you come up with these 'cool' thoughts about being so-called 'positive'.

2- the absolute funniest theme that emerged here is this weird idea about being positive to support the team. people: NO ONE FROM THE TEAM IS READING THIS BLOG!!!! GOD!!!!!! I CANNOT BELIEVE SOME OF YOU COME UP WITH THIS STUFF! Whether I say player X is shit, or whether you say player X is good; PLAYER X DOES NOT GIVE A DAMN, NOR IS HIS PERFORMANCES AFFECTED!

Obviously being someone with 'negative' opinions, my opinion are not up to the standards of this blog anymore...either way, I WISH come July 13 I'll come here for one last time, write my apology to Sabella and celebrate a trophy I've been waiting for 24 years.

It wasn't just criticizing that drove people crazy, it was the constant bashing as if the team got knocked out already losing 0-3 every single game. We have done some things right in the process, rooms for improvement, and making progress every game. A lot of the so called fans in here are making foolish predicition like Argentina would never lift the cup or just a quarter final material, those stupid comments just tick people off, and it got to stop.

At the end of the day, anything can happen in a football game like i said before, and we certainly don't need a miracle to win this title, all Argentina needs to do is repeat what we have proven in the last 2-3 years, and our chances is as good as anyone's. Have faith.

Ditto, ditto, and ditto.

Good approach Roy. There's nothing worse than reading constant negativity. It's a fine line between constructive criticism and negativity and that's where the art of writing comes into it. We have some exceptional bloggers on this site that do this well who are the usual suspects and I'm always scrolling through to find their names and enjoy a good read.

But Pablo.d said it perfectly in that there are too many egos in site who love saying 'I told you so or I predicated this or that. To those people I say 'Good for you but no one cares'.

Vamos Argentina!!!!!

I agree their is to much ego on here, to much "my" opinion only is correct and if you don't like it you are a troll or don't know any thing about football.

every one has an opinion and we must all respect others opinion's as that is all they are-opinion's.

its simple you don't have to read what some one else has written-you choose to.
you don't have to write some thing cryptic back if you don't agree-you choose to.

their are some great posters on here and some interesting thoughts both good and bad, no one is correct 100% of the time and no one will ever be.

im sick of reading person a is to negative etc and they don't love the team-who cares that is their choice and thoughts.

at the end of the day no matter how positive or negative we are it will not make the team play better or worse, it is out of out hands and I do believe their is actually no one here who does not want the team to win.

You can release your frustrations with your family and friends in real life. See if they tolerate it!! How about more praising...if NONE then keep it to yourself because only the Argentina Haters love that stuff. They love it! We here in mundoalbiceleste are powerless with influencing the coach or AFA so constructive criticism is USELESS but only angers the people who truly love the team. We haven't shown our true form yet. Anybody can see that and because of the teams we've played. There are no easy teams in this world cup! We will make it to the finals. I have hope. If not , then i'll still support them and continue to praise them. Argentina NT is not a CLUB for me. It's a lifestyle.

There's a difference between constructive criticism than constant bashing. It's nice to criticize and point out the team's weaknesses and mistakes as all teams in history have made mistakes here and there on their way to the trophy. However, to claim Argentina is a guaranteed quarter final material or claims that Argentina have 0 chance is absolute nonsense and downright criminal. If you have such thoughts, please get out of here, you do not belong here.

Only if the fans here could be like the supporters at the stadiums supporting the team...Imagine if all those supporters started jeering and cussing the coach and players? It would be terrible for the guys, that's why this negativity is not welcome here..What's with this is ''my opinion'' talk here on some rubbish post?'' well your opinion does not belong here if its not constructive and thoughtful..

Okay this will be my last post for a now. I have been frustrated by the team and cannot sit here and say it's all fine and dandy because it is not. The team has not been eliminated and wish they don't but men oh men it hasn't been good.

Maybe I was making things in my own mind but the team has not displayed anything even close to what I had expected. I have a feeling I will be posting negative thoughts if things don't change so I'd rather refrain from posting altogether.

All in all, whatever we do or say here will not change anything about what will happen in Brazil. We're here to voice our frustration and praise for our team.

The last and most important thing I still hope and pray that we get a third star on our jerseys. Great WC everybody!

I say you flag all the names of the people who are Negative and have NO clue what they are talking about!! We have 23 players who have been called. They can all be used and we should just shut our mouths and support. Otherwise nobody really wants to hear that crap. Do you think when we are losing or not doing well that the first thing I'd love to read is your crap?? Yes we are all supporters but if you need to vent in a negative way then write a letter to the AFA cuz I don't want to read it. I've been a long time member and haven't logged into Mundoalbiceleste since the beginning of the world cup,ADMIN can check for you, because of the why this...and why that....and why we play with Gago.. and why we not call Tevez....and why Maxi...why don't you go back to before the qualifiers and see WHY!!! Educate yourselves, realize the reality of our team, the schematics, the players and just watch and enjoy OR STOP WATCHING if you have nothing good to say. Point is ...NOBODY wants to hear it!! It's not even constructive criticism...for who?? I'm not the AFA...I can't do anything about what's going on and Neither can WE. It's a shame and let's start taking names down. Go to Goal.com or something different. I've never been to goal.com in my life but i've read its garbage just like what they are turning Mundo into these days. what a shame!!

Dear Roy,

I suppose being critical of the team is not negative. It is out of passion, folks take time and write it in the site. At the same time..we do not want to pull names of bloggers here individually and hurting their feelings.

This is just my thought. I could also misinterpreted some of the quotes.

Why so much hate. This is not goal.com, as mentioned by roy everyone has the right to comment what he thinks and its not that people who critical r not an argentinian fan, and vice versa. Go and look back during argentina vs bosnia game during first half, there r some rubbish comments about messi and the team by the people who r familiar here. If u think that people who wrote some lengthy stuff and getting kudos r true fan then i m really sorry to comment here. The main objective of every fan is to win as simple as that. I think every blogger here as that
