I'm worried about Fernandez. Rojo gets stick a lot but i fear Fernandez might drop the ball when it matters. Someone please provide a clip or convince me that he is the proper man to do it !

Arg vs Por: Frenz do we have some toughie out there in NT who can destroy Pepe incase Mourinho still plays his cards thru Portugal to destroy Messi. Pepe plays like an animal. He has no heart. We need a Palermo or Guiteraz like monsters to keep Pepe away from Messi.

I think there is also something wrong in Romeros minutes ... 316 minutes in 9 matches for a goalkeeper sounds weird

Winning the first 1 against Bosnia, Sabella should really consider benching one or two guys like Di Maria, Garay, Masch and Zaba in the second match. We should not have problems beating Iran without some of those guys and, once garanteed in 1st position, put a B-team in the 3rd against Nigeria.

Neymar is a special talent but i fear there will be too much pressure on his thin shoulders.. you need experience to win the WC which neymar and Brazil lacks.. they can get to the semifinals with their home advantage but winning the whole tournament is very uncertain.. World Cup is very unpredictable and nothing is set in stone.. But i still feel South American teams will have huge edge over Europeans..

Yea, I agree, I watch the first 25 minutes and I was not impress with Brazil, you could hear the crowd jeering at them before they score..This is the team that everyone was saying is more prepared the other teams but yet before the goals, they had countless of miss passes..Luiz is a joke, Ramires and Gustavo are nothing special in midfield..Btw Panama never made a world cup in their history...The free kick was what undo Panama, they were doing great until that goal..

Panama=Honduras and Brazil fielded their best side messi+Lavezzzi+Augusto beat them 4-0 too i don't see what the big hype is. I think Brazil is playing these matches to inflate Neymar's Goal/Game Ratio. Also you are right about brazil they take a while to go full gear opposite of Germany from what i seen Germany are ruthless in the beggining of matches.

Brazil vs Panama Review....
1) Seems like handling pressure wont b a problem for this brazil side coz all r cool n big hearted, de only question is do they hav de quality to become world champions...
2) Did a very shabby start to de game but became better n better when de time went on...
3) Looked like working specially on set pieces n long shots in training sessions...
4) Fred n jo were below par n cesar looked unconfident on goal...
5) Gustavo+Ramires partnership at DM has no chance as they failed to move de ball around. Can expect fernandinho or hernanes...
6) Oscar failed to impress, spot at first choice 11 is doubt...
7) Neymar is the key, will have a big role in team performance...
8) Fernandinho in deep lying role will b crucial to switch plays i feel...
9) Most possible first choice starting 11 imo :
Cesar
Alves, luiz, silva, marcelo
Fernandinho, gustavo
Hulk, neymar, willian
Fred.
10) Played against a poor side, still has to say, apart from some opening mins, dominated them comfortably, especially at 2nd half didnt gave them anything...
Look like they are up to de battle... Beating them at home isn't going to be an easy task anyway...
Will be capable of Leo n boys only i feel...
Ha ha ha...
Vamos Argentina...

Brazil isn't playing such a great football in fact really poor in de opening 25 mins, really struggled to bring de ball out of their half till de first goal... But is looking incredible in finishing... Scoring goals from nowhere... Look like they worked so much on set pieces n long shorts... Not so much creation in open play... Heading to second half...

It's a very balanced and experienced squad that sabella has picked.. Sosa's exclusion perfectly shows that sabella prefers the team over personal likeness.. Media is underestimating this team a lot and they are already declaring spain as champions.. Let them do that,, it is always better to stay below the radar and when this team will click at the right time,, these paparazzis will change their tunes accordingly.. On paper spain team is the strongest of all but when they will play in Brazil they will feel the Tropical heat like never before.. I say that the Latin American teams will storm this WC while the Europeans will struggle to find their feets..

World Cup fever has started everywhere.. In my country people have supported Argentina or Brazil till death.. Argentina mainly because of that Legendary 1986 WC in which Maradona performed miracles on the pitch.. At that time,, our country was still not that developed and people were just staring to buy new black and white TVs.. and they switched On their first TV and they saw a 5'5 genius doing Hand of God and dribbling past 6 players.. People basically went wild seeing Maradona doing these impossible feats and after argentina won the WC,, 98% of the population supported Argentina and Maradona was our football God..We started watching the WC because of Him.. People of this country Mourned publicly when Maradona was banned in 1994 and from there on they started to support other teams.. in 1998,, a 21-year old Phenonmenon called Ronaldo(not the fake one ;) was winning the hearts of many Bangladeshis.. and after the suspicious final in which France beat brazil 3-0,, many people were very angry and thought that France fixed the match.. Four years later when Ronaldo came back from a horrendous injury to score 2 winning goals against germany in the final and wrote a story of emphatic redemption,, His place in our hearts were sealed,, People found a new Hero and Five time WC champions became their favorite new team.. and from then on,, 45% was always argentina and 45% was brazil and 10% were outsiders.. and though in recent times spain and germany performed better,, Argentina and Brazil is absolutely imbedded in our bloods.. if any foreigners come to our country they will think that they have come to South America.. Argentina and Brazil flags flies high in our office buildings, apartments, rooftops, slums, tea stalls.. When the WC comes it's Argentina-Brazil War in our country.. and we would not want any other final other than Argentina vs Brazil...

This is story of our relation with the WC...

@ Roy you didn't miss any number. It is so clearly written that Basanta played 3114 minutes from 34 matches.

Even if it is 311 minutes, how does Basanta become a "1 minute man". He will become only a "10 minute man". Am I right or wrong? Sorry, The last few comments confused me so much that I am unable to calculate anything. Somebody please help me!

All talks about formations everywhere. But what I think is Sabella is planning for a special setup which will break the chains of old concepts. In our view Gago is a right sided defensive minded but can attack player with primary duty as linking defense and attack, that's all.But actually is that enough description???No man,no he got some plans beyond that.Sometimes it may be one of my very own session(FlightThought)..
