News from Day Two Training Session

With 16 days remaining the National Team had their training session in Ezeiza for the second day again behind closed doors.

Accoding to Canchallena, there was some mysterious fog surrounding the premise, which forced the players and the coaching staff to start their work in the complex gym (here’s a picture taken from their Twitter account).

Nevertheless as soon as the sun came up, the players took to the field for their planned training schedule of the day. All the players were present except Ángel DI MARIA who is expected to arrive back today.

So far, there is some good news.

Seems like the both Fernando GAGO and Éver BANEGA looks almost recovered from their injuries and have joined the rest of the team for training.

The only key concern now is Augusto FERNANDEZ who is still recovering from his sprained ankle which could put his place in the final 23 in jeopardy.

That’s all the news for now, stay tuned as we will do our best bring you more from time to time.

most matches i saw gago play he has done nothing, i saw one good pass vs costa rica and that's it.

i know he will be the same, either get injured or just not do anything in the match, reminds me alot of sosa. every time i see gago, all he does in sideways passes and is petrified of crossing the halfway line

@princegj: Caballero didn't perform well in the qualifiers. May be that's why.

yes i also feel he is a decent midfielder but thats it he is no xavi what many believe so and besides when u come back from injury it takes time to regain your full form so its kind of risky for sure and he is not great in defensive duties also

augusto and sosa out in comes perez and alvarez this training season is vital for making team chemistry they dont have the advantage of playing in the clubs together like spain and germany so this training is more important for us rather than spain germany btw i dont want any injuries to happen from this training

I don't understand the myth around Gago; he surely is a good player but he hasn't played that much and on the occasions he played he didn't play that great like many on this website claim.

Just saying... I hope he plays the best month of his life during the World Cup but I really don't have a reason to believe he will.

Just happy to see Gago there, a very important player for this team. At least if we don't have a better goalie and some shitty face on the LB, we have one great midfielder.

Gago is in safe hands now. The team will protect him like a baby. They know what a fit Gago means to them.

I honestly don't want Gago to get injured.....he's a great midfielder. Sabella hasn't planned for his replacement.....that's why he's very important for the team, like Mascherano and Messi.

Baker both Alvarez and Sosa wont be going to Brazil, they play basically the same position...So Alvarez will be ahead of Sosa..Perez and Augusto are another two fighting for a spot..

Medics at Boca wasn't taking good care of Gago..As soon as Sabella took things in his own hands Gago is looking healthy again..
