Better no.5 than Gago in my opinion. He's better at physique,Mental strength,Tackling,Marking(Both zonal and man) and an underrated but quality defensive midfielder. But on passing he is some way short of Gago. Here from his words we can understand that he got great heart and mind to receive what he deserves without being complacent. He would be great as a Anchor helper in a two defensive midfield setup like "4-2-3-1".But for our current setup and formation he needs to be more creative,so a healthy Gago will replace him in the first eleven. But he would be useful if we need to close down a game in the late stages...

He's another PK taker we have after Messi, Higuain, Aguero, Garay, and Maxi.

That's what is needed, players who will give everything they have and leave nothing on the pitch.
