TEVEZ Breaks His Silence on Twitter

In a message posted on his Official Twitter account, TEVEZ says that he doesn’t have any problem with regards to not being selected for the National Team. He also wanted everyone to understand that he never part of SABELLA’s plan in the first place.

He also took this opportunity to thank everyone for the love and support they have given to him during these times and also urged every journalist, players, coaches, leaders and fans to get behind the National Team despite of his absence.

He ended his message by posting a picture of Fort Apache with a message that says "I come from a place where they said it was impossible to succeed."

TEVEZ’s exclusion from the National Team Provisional squad hasn’t been well accepted by many fans of his.

if Higuaim is injured again who can replace him?

Lavezzi? omg!! this guy is dumb! I have never seen him score a goal for Argentina. He missed so many clear goals again Bolivia in the last COpa america. Had we win that game, we would have avoid Uruguay early and play them in the Final and may be we would have had a better chance to beat Uruguay. I can't stand him. I hope Sabella Pick Palacio over him as a sub for Higuaim. Cause I know for sure by round 16 Auero or Higuaim will be injured. That's not what I hope but guys Aguero hasn't play 3 consecutive games. He has been injured re-injured. that's sad

Btw, why can't Dimaria put his butt on the Bench, why cant the argentina media cry out to spop him from playing in the final. The guy was injured and he's been rush to come back. Why can't he do like Neymar?

If messi don't need a Xavi Iniesta Style player to feed him near the Box Why on earth then He was playing so low in Maradona's team? Why on earth he didn't score one goal @ the world cup. Have you guys seen how far Messi had to come from behind to go up the field with the ball. Why on earth he had to come from behind to find the ball and bring it up to Tevez and Higuaim against Germany, Nigeria, Mexico?

I know you gonna say that with Sabella it's different that Messi has score lots of Goals. It's true however we play agains south american teams, and we draw some games and Brazil wasn't there. Please stop referring to the friendly games we play against Italy, Germany and so on... these were friendly!! hello friendly games. World cup is a different venue.

Sunddenly an injured fab4 is ready to score last of goals with our behind expose!! Offense score goals defense wins championships!
Argentina can score lots of goals against Bosnia, Nig, Iran, (2 of these teams have never been in a world cu no experience) just like we did against serbia 6-0 in 2006. What happen next game when we played Holland? We drew. Couldn't score one goal. Perfect example!!
So we gonna pass first round easily, scoring lots of goals. But against serious team, I have serious doubt on this team. Expert are waving the yellow flag about our defense, expert are saying Messi cant do it alone. But folks of Mundo are too blind to see the this team weakness and lower their expectation.

I'm a true argentine fan but not a blind one. I've watched this drama so many times about our defense. It got exposed against Germany in 2010, it will be expose again this year when facing Brazil, Holland, Germany,( Switzerland or France in round 16) Germany in quaterfinal. Let's hope Sabella Wake up and fix that mess by having Enzo in his plan. I guess it's too late to ask for Fazio....... and so one

Don't cry fore me Argentina!!!!! I knew it

@elpipita:

No man, trust me, even when Argentina win the world cup people will still say things like:
"Well, if Tevez was there Argentina could've scored more goals" or "Tevez would've finished the game earlier, without the need to go to extra times" or some other sh!ts !!

Some people wants Tevez on here and think he's better than some strikers called for WC, some other hates his guts and think he's a bad influence on the team with no work ethics. In the end to each his own opinion....Even at home, you can't agree with your household members, so you want to agree with people from around the world with different backgrounds and cultures? This is a public blog....post what you think and speak up without insulting bloggers or attacking them personally. This website is to share news, opinions, feedback, criticism and analysis with full freedom. If you come across something you don't like, just skip.....that's what I do. Practice today or you will get a high blood pressure.

On a side note: Sabella is still green, with no world cup experience as a manager. It's hard to give him full credit today when Romania left him with no clue just a couple months ago. You haven't seen a thing yet, in the world cup, top managers will fight for the title as big players.....I say the top coach wins not the top player. Slow it down people and be humble. Our world cup qualifying campaign wasn't super hot....we drew, and lost against minor teams plus Brazil wasn't in the mix. Just wait, watch, and enjoy both entertainment and drama !!!

Argentuban save your breath, people will be b****ing about Tevez until the albicelestes win the world cup, only then can I see people shutting up about it.

Infact this is what we should here at mundo, we should start a topic called "wanna b**ch about Tevez? post here!!" and make it a sticky, maybe that will stop all the useless Tevez whining that has to crawl and creep into every damn topic we talk about here.

For f*@k's sake already, Tevez is not a midfielder, a defender or a goalkeeper.

He is a forward. We have 5 great forwards who played with the team throughout the campaign, and who all have been playing well for their clubs.

Tevez quit on the team, said he didn't want to be part of it, said it wash;t for him, then all of the sudden after all the work had been done he decided he wanted back.

Tevez off the team is not the issue. The issue is no solid box to box option in terms of health, no true left back, and most importantly, no keeper. Tevez on the team would not resolve any of those issues.

I am not happy with sabella decision not calling tevez. I dont care what problem you have you can not ignor this grate players when it come to the NT. You want to wen the world cup but not calling him and bringing SOSA to wen the world cup. Dont take me wrong I like sabella but when it come to any good player that had fantastic year then I will be best off. I love argentina and I will be fan for life time but it hurt me not seeing tevez play. Hope still time may be just may be sabella call him up.

@admin,

I think the mistake is not with Sabella but we are focusing and discussing Tevez's saga, bored with the Tevez topic again and again - let's think positive and focus on N/T and the players fitness and tactics rather than non selected players at least for this 3 months until WC. Or explore opponents players and strategy and our forecast to beat them

Because we all go mad and used non common sense words and argue by bringing the Tevez, Willy and Icardi or Iturbe topic. Vamos Arg.

As I earlier in the previous post that tevez issues is not professional it's personal ,it's also related to some team players as well, same with the caballero exclusion. How can Augusto is selected while he is injured ?? Also Sosa is a part time atletico player , how is he selected?? They should consider fazio, gaitan, zarate

the biggest problem we have now is the goalkeeper. Romero's weaknesses will show in the knockout stages. Also Rojo proved to be a bad LB that's why all opponents have planned to attack us using the left flank. Rojo will suffer and Romero will struggle.

As for attacking, I don't see Lavezzi or Palacio as goal scorers for Argentina....you can run all day long, but what matters at the end is finishing the ball inside the net. I will buy Icardi anytime over both Lavezzi and Palacio.

I don't know if Sabella has made a mistake by not considering Caballero. Time will tell it. But so far, I think he has.

I think we should ignore all posts on Tevez now. We don't need Tevez. We need players who are good, young, energetic but at the same time would be complaisant to sit on the bench and who would still give everything, if given a chance to play for only 5 minutes. I can find those qualities in Palacio and Lavezzi. If something Messi, Aguero, Higuain, Palacio and Lavezzi can't do, I don't believe Tevez can do it either.

Don't worry about Di Santo. He has been called to get cut off the list of 23 players. Its easier to cut Di Santo off the final list than Tevez.

We should focus more on Midfield as that is the place which bothers us now. We need fit and in form players in that area. Our Strikers and Defenders are pretty much set. Now we need to sort out the Midfield.

Yesterday I was watching a daily Dutch talkshow on football. They discussed the Argentina squad and thought it very wise from Sabella to leave Tevez at home. Comments were made: "Tevez is not a team player. He never gives the ball back to Messi, but goes for his own chances. Selfish player. Messi and Tevez don't click." etc.

The omission of Caballero was labelled as "stupid".

Wow!A matured Tevez with supporting hands to national team and coach who have neglected him.Just wow!!!You can hear his name for the first friendly after the worldcup itself with whoever coaching the team.
Have anyone noticed that Tevez have improved a lot (attitude-wise) under Conte. May be Conte thought "Let him study how to behave and talk instead how to play in which he's good at!!!".

I think this is time we stop questioning things and start supporting our players. What's all this fuss about Romero? Did people forget Goycochea? He was not the No. 1 keeper in River Plate (2nd to Comizzo) nor in Argentina national team (2nd to Pumpido). I am not sure how many matches played over the 89-90 season leading to the world cup, but am sure that would not be a huge no. of matches either. Why can't Romero deliver such results? At least he has been the No. 1 for our NT for years.

Stop criticizing, people.

Hmmmmm a heart felt and a surprisingly mature comment from Tevez; it took 30 years but I guess tevez is finally growing up!
It is a testament to Argentina's attacking prowess that someone like Tevez is a mere luxury but like Spain's case with midfielders Argentina simply don't any more forwards.
A wise man once said that you need 8 players to lift the piano and only 3 to play it but with messi, kun, pipita, pocho and palacio you have 5 players who are more than willing to lift the piano and 3 of them happen to play it like Mozart.

tevez is a gladiator, not a team player... we already have messi, lavezzi, palacio, kun and pipita... how many more forwards do we need? palacio has more assists, only 2 less goals, and is more of a team player than tevez...people here in argentina are obsessed with tevez. in 2011 i too wanted tevez on the team, as a back up, but he will never be a back up, if he is in the bench, the press will make sure he starts...

dinucci, messi, masche and dimaria are the irreplaceble players in this team.... dimaria is the fantastico that more defend, but being a great defender is not his attribute, as is not gagos...

@travis: from your list I think only Caballero deserved the spot.

I would also take Fazio in WC 30 squad but then I think we have enough CBs in Garay, FF, Basanta and even Rojo can play at the position. The inclusion of Rojo, Basanta, Campagnaro are reasonable because they all can play in different positions CB or LB.

But we need one more defender. Demichelis?? Otamendi?? Lisandro Lopez??

We all have some negative opinions about Demichelis and Otamendi because of 2010 world cup. But they have surely evolved in this 4 years. Who would have thought they would get another chance after the match against Germany in 2010 world cup?

Their primary advantage is they are currently in form and they both have world cup experience. Demichelis has been playing great for 1/2 month and City have won Premier League. I did not watch Otamendi playing this season, but I have heard he played well.

travis,
tevez had 19 goals, palacio had 17 goals (none from penalty) and more assists than tevez..

no one can replace dimaria, messi or masche. as simple as that.

zabaleta and garay are also difficult to replace.

otherwise the team will manage. biglia is good...
the defense suffered a lot because gago and the 4 fantastico dont defend...

so, if pipita is not healthy, we can play kun, messi and dimaria upfront and have a stronger midfielder...

of all defenders, perhaps nicolas pareja would be the one i would have liked to see...because he is faster than the rest....

I love CT11 very much you are in our heart always!!!!!!!!!!!! you are a great footballer.

Our coach could have added Willy as GK and Musshino in defense as well. He will make us suffer again with his wrong selection.

Our Midfielders are good, but as someone said we have 2 strikers who are not 90 minutes players and injury of Aguero is also a problem. We will hope for the best.

@travis
What you said is true. It seems as if the fans do not have any problem for the exclusion of those players you mentioned. The only problem the fans and the media have is the exclusion of Tevez.

But I disagree with you about Biglia. He is a fantastic player who shows 200% commitment to the shirt he wears. If Gago is not fit, Biglia is a very good option. I am afraid that even if Gago is fit, he may not be able to rise up to his usual form. Because, after his previous injury, Gago was just a shadow of his real self in Bocca as well as in the match against Romania.

There are a lot of positives for us. For example, we don't have any mighty opponents till semi. I think, we can overcome Switzerland or Belgium or any possible opponents in quarter and semi. I see every possibility for us to reach the final without much trouble despite the presence of two clowns, Romero and Roho. See this statistics, we are in the easiest group:
http://imgur.com/a/mtq6U

If Enzo Perez gets selected to the NT and included in the first eleven, then our team will be fine.

Tevez???

What about Caballero, Gonzalo R, Ansaldi, Musacchio, Pastore, Lamela, Gaitan, Icardi, Iturbe, Scocco etc..this is a few names that I think should be going to Brazil, but didn't even been consider by Sabella the murderer.

Instead, Sabella the murderer bring a few circus clowns he thinks as footballers with him.

Of course, you guys don't worry too much because Argentina is in considered an easy group.

I ask:
Who's replacing Gago if he's not fit this June? (most likely he will not fit this June, or even will have a very bad days)
Who's replacing Kun if he's not fit this June? (he will most likely not gonna be around 90 minutes in every matches)
Who's replacing Maria if he's not fit this June? (his latest injury will be there in Brazil)
Who's replacing Higuain if he's not on his days this June? (we've seen the worst of him if he's not on his days)
Who's more better at the back apart from Zaba, Garay and Fede? (if one or two of them yellow carded which is most likely to happened in long tournament, who will be in their places?
Romero and Rojo is two circus clowns at the back.
Banega and Biglia is nowhere near Gago, Maria or Mascherano.
Palacio and Lavezzi is also two circus clowns at the front.
all the subs are purely JOKES.

I'm expecting the worst ever again World Cup for Argentina...all because of Sabella the murderer.

his time is over, he has had many many chances (64 caps 13 goals)over the years before sabella and to most people has not really lived up to his fantastic club level form and reputation for the n/t, their is no denieing hes is a fantastic club player but for the n/t an average player.

Said it before and I say it again, its a shame that this sort of thing keeps happening.

Great Argentine players excluded from the WC roster because of one reason or another like some before him.

I am a big fan of Tevez and I know we're better with him than without him but I also understand the cost as well.

I hope to see him wearing the #11 again, who knows maybe at next year's Copa America, when ARGENTINA, the WC CHAMPS take the pitch in Chile or the U S of A.
