Lionel MESSI: Xavi and INIESTA want WC win

Lionel MESSI spoke about the World Cup, the team and how Xavi and Andres INIESTA want him to win the World Cup. Here's what he had to say:

"Obviously the World Cup is a dream and a goal. We know that anything is possible, but we try to progress little by little. At the national team we have a solid group of friends. Some of us have known each other since we were little kids. That's something good. We enjoy playing together as a team."

On Xavi and Andres INIESTA:
"For the friendship we have together, they've already won it, they wish I can win a World Cup, they've told me that more than once."

salvio and gaitan are very good options, they can play the role of xavi and inesta, that will decrease the pressure from messi, higuian and aguero.
messi, higuian, aguero,palacio, lavezzi,

I think Sabella should give chance to Alejandro Dominguez. I saw him perform against Manchester United in both legs He was outstanding in both matches. he was carrying whole team on his shoulder. As Argentina is lacking creativity in attacking midfield truth is we have to rely on messi to come deep back to midfield collect ball and make something happen.with Alejandro Dominguez playing along side Messi that will reduce pressure on messi who can concentrate only on attack.I think Dominguez is better than Banega only thing that may be problem is he is already 32 years old and match fitness can be a real problem

@Mafioso well said,

Spain will use the 4-2-3-1 with Costa in front as their last friendly match against Italy;it works well and looks effective as they keep the ball possession. Although Italians looks exhausted.

Spain is a real threat. Not an easy way to pass on.

Report:Lionel Messi demanding 35 m salary
Source:Report from AS (A Madrid based newspaper)
So there is a lot of doubt in term of credibility, these Madrid based newspapers always try to dismantle Barca and their players (Specially Lionel Messi) by reporting nonsense. So please don't believe these rubbish! !

Before Brazil beat Spain at final, they had a very hard time at semi final against Uruguay.Only Cavani who was playing as RB at a time, kept Neymar out of the game for most of the time.Brazil created very few chances and looked clueless to break Uruguay defense.Uruguay defense is not good one,but they was prepared.Tabarez knew how Brazil was going to play.Uruguay lost due to Forlan, who was largely ineffective and missed a penalty.

Those who think Brazil won Confed cup due to Scolari
magic are mistaken.Mano Menzes was sacked at a time when after a log period of ups and downs Brazil was showing consistency. On the other hand, team like Italy,Spain was in bad shape.A big reason Brazil won Confed cup is world class performance from Jo and Fred. But I highly doubt they will produce world class performances in two consecutive top tournament.None of them are world class forward, not even close.Hernan Barcos is better forward than both of them.

And those who do not respect Spain no more due to 3-0 loss to Brazil are also mistaken.I can assure you that it won't happen again.Del Basque is an interesting manager. He used 3 different formation for 3 different
tournament. 4-2-3-1 at WC'10,4-2-6-0 at Euro'12 an finally Barcelona like 4-3-3 at confed cup.It failed him last time.So I'm waiting what he brings new to
WC'14.Here I think he will go back to his old 4-2-3-1,having Negredo and Costa in his hand.He has also some new option at defense too.Martinez,Albiol,Cavaraj etc.He has some work to done, but Spain at wc will be better than Spain at Confed cup and there is no doubt about it.

And at the build up for 2nd goal against man city, the way he drawn city palyers to the left n pasd the ball to sergi roberto to attack thru the open right wing.... class out of the world.....

i was amazed at the footballing intelligence messi has. see the first goal against osasuna. messi was at the left hand side of the defender there, any player would normally try to receive the pass from there. by the time the pass was given, he went around the defender and put the ball in to the net!

God wiling and Argentina make it to the final, it will be tough for any team to beat us even against the host Brazil..Argentina will already play games at the Maracana in the tournament, so they wont be overwhelm to much by the Brazilian support in a possible fianl match up..

Scolari and all these other Brazilian state men keep on saying the supporters will propel Brazil to the title, they're only looking at the supporters in that point of view..What happens to the Brazilian supporters if they're trailing in a game or their team is being outplay by the opponent? I wouldn't be surprise if the fans boo this Brazilian team at some point during the world cup tournament..

True.... i havn't seen players with such an undrstndng each other.... Nt last game, i m jst recollecting the time they were jst ruled the europe.... The time they jst humiliated each evry big heads in europe.... I believ evn dis bayern of pep is way below class to dat magical barca.... Anthr thing dat add the sweetness is when thnkng dat sabella took dat team to the extreme....

I am the biggest critic of Sabella not picking Caballero.
However it is becoming increasingly clearer that he is picking Romero
And taking the fall because Romero is Messi's old national
Teammate and Buddy.

If Spain meet Brazil again, I don't think Brazil can beat them 3-0 like the last time. Spain would study the game, and it will be a tough one. I see Spain as a possible final candidate.

If Spain really want to help Argentina to win, the first step is beat Brazil in the second round...and meet us in the final!

Messi-Xavi - Iniesta for me its footballs greatest ever triangle, this triangle is made for each other, if anybody disagrees with me Please watch Barcelonas latest match vs Osasuna.

Messi, help Gago, DiMaria and Macherano, their not going to control the midfield ever game. Stay calm, at look for signs like, Macherano starts passing long passes on a continue bases, Gago starts turning into a noddle, and DiMaria starts passing long passes, crosses, and starts dribbling to much and loses possessing to easily. When you start to noticing this , turn into a BEAST, and let them have it!

Vamos Argentina!
