Albiceleste dominates and give pressure to Romania; looks like Sabella mission is to control and find a good rythme and harmony of team rather than winning.

Sabella prefers GRIT and TENACITY more than anything else. I always knew Basanta would be there in his plans.

their is always time to experiment in a small way and as we have pointed out about the 2002 team when we were the best team on the planet (I think 32 matches unbeaten) going into the w.c 2002 but after a couple of key injuries- we know the rest.

Yup Garay is injured, so Basanta replaced him:

So Basanta is ahead of both Campagnaro and Otamendi in Sabella's pecking order. That's interesting.

100 days until the world cup and people on here still talking about experiment..For Argentina to still be experimenting now would be troubling if you ask me, consider they played competitive football for over three years while a team like Brazil who didn't play in the qualifiers, there team is already set..Thank goodness we have a level headed coach like Sabella and not some one like Maradona who use over 500 players in qualifying but still fail to come up with a coherent team going into the 2010 world cup..

The words incredible and unbelievable don't even begin to describe this guys work rate and pace. Wish we had one like him on today's team. Tireless left back or midfielder if needed. Was able to play on the left with Kily Gonzalez or Gustavo Lopez, excellent midfielders in their own right but along with El Piojo Lopez, that was one of our best left sides ever. His battle with Germany's Odonkor in the quarters of the 2006 World Cup is unforgettable.
