Claudio Yacob Vs Chelsea later on today.

I think Its fair to consider that as a "Champion's league" level due to the fact that Chelsea is currently one of the best club right now competing in the Cl. Hopefully Yacob can gain some experience from this game.

Also he's currently #3 best tackler in the top 5 Leagues in Europe (78 tackles in 22 games) behind Victor Sanchez (84 tackles) and Arturo Vidal (80 tackles). After tonight's game He'll probably surpass Vidal for sure.

Lets Go Yacob!!!!!

Palacio is a good player, a real fighter and I'm very happy to have him on the bench but pipita is one of the fantastic 4 nuff said!
As for Roncaglia, well I think the guy did fairly well considering what he had to put up with in his first game with Argentina, I mean talk about trial by fire!
In that game it wouldn't have mattered who was playing full back because Sabella miscalculated and had a formation that was ill equipped to deal with Equador's speedy counters coming from the wings.
Luckily Sabella is a proper coach and he remedied that in the next game against Bosnia and we all know the score in that game.
At the end of the day I'd take anyone and I mean ANYONE over Rojo, which unfortunately isn't going to happen barring a serious injury to Marcos. Although I am ashamed to say that I find myself wishing Rojo would receive an injury that is bad enough to keep him out of the world cup and while I know thats a cruel thing to wish for and say, one has to remember that the albicelestes come first now and always.

Wat r u talking about? Higuain is one of the best players in the world when it comes to creating space in closed areas nd his finishing nd first touch of the ball r fatal... Very few strikers have higuains 1st touch for the ball ... I sometimes see higuain taking 2 to 3 players with his 1st touch for the ball... Also his 1st touch passes could be fatal where he creates a lot of space for his team mates!
Higuain however needs to work on improving his air game because when it comes to areal duels he still lacks a strong heart to jump for the ball; he also needs to work on controlling his nerves because sometimes he loses all his concentration infront of goal due to his nervousness!

If he works on these 2 pts than higuain will be one of the best number 9s nd he could reach batigols standards nd even exceed him!!!

Kenneth: moreover It is not about beauty of the game. If you want seen result joyfull football and out of touch with reality then remind yourself Maradona's team against Germany in 2010. The aim is winning World Cup not beauty of the game. But I see here mutual admiration society who treat our players like Champions of the World. But aren't Champions yet. We are just pretendent. And favorites are Brazil, Spain, Germany like Sabella said himself. But you are convinced that we have best players in any position. Therefore I see here heavy regarding and ignorance for potential team like above named. For example: It should not be forgotten, though, that Spain and Germany teoretically have much bigger potential and powers in midfield. But you forgetted this. Maybe I am here to wake up you from dogmatic nap.

@outlaw you are most crazy over here in Mundo haha...of course Zaba is better than Roncaglia. I feel more comfortable with him at the back rather than Roncaglia. Roncaglia screwed many many times against Equador, when Zaba got in, Equador turn to another wimp, that is Orban, but of course I prefer Orban than Roho. Campagnaro is maybe equal to Zaba, but his form isn't better than Zaba at the moment.

very true those teams with the $$ will always buy the best.
some average players can look fantastic in a expensively assembled team (for what ever sport)but take them out of that team and they are still average players and their are others who are the stars and will always be.

as for the deluded fool known Pele ask the Brazilians and most do not rate him as their best player of all time and you are correct his "success" was so much because of others where as Diago was the key pele was a lock pick.

pablo you could say the same about Jordan Chicago bulls star studded winning team; Kobe bryan star studded champion winning team; Lebron James star studded champion winning team..Team work win championships not an individual player, that's why clubs try to buy the best player for every position on a team..

Would Pele had great success if he didn't have a great Brazilian team around him?

"So what if Zabaleta play for a 200 million dollar team"
its simple really any player is going to look much better in a team of stars as they will have far better players around them where as if he was playing for wigan or palace any player would not look as good.
we will never know but would a messi or cr7 have the same success in their careers if they played for wigan or palace?

So outlaw what did your YouTube clip prove? I see Messi and Ronaldo leaving players to sleep everyday..Ribery did nothing, because after all what he did, Zabaleta still won the ball, so this video proves nothing..By the way that was the first and last good moment Ribery had in that game against Zabaleta. Zabaleta was on top of Ribery since he came on as a sub..Remember Munich was running Man City riot before Zabman came on, its when Zabaleta came on for an injured Michael Richards that City was able to get back in the game and City first goal was due to Zabaleta contribution. Again this proves nothing..But then again, Dante and Boateng were nothing special in this same game they were the main reason Bayern lost.

outlaw Zabaleta didn't have any problem against Ribery in Munich earlier this year..Also we played Germany in 2012 and Zabaleta did not have any problem with Reus..Its a given that our defenders will be get beaten on a given occasion,no defender in this world will keep out either Ribery or Ronaldo for an entire 90 minutes..Roncaglia was eaten up alive against Ecuador/ Valencia earlier in the USA while Zabman have kept a lid on Valencia every time they've met in the BPL..

So what if Zabaleta play for a 200 million dollar team..Who doesn't play in an expensive team these days.Real, Barca, Man United, Chelsea, Bayern, PSG are all multi rich clubs..take some of the players out of these teams and put them in an average side and see if their performance wouldn't look average...

Zabaleta play a different role for Argentina than he does for City..He tend to attack a lot in the BPL but is a more reserve player for NT...

el principe Zabman won the Olympics with Argentina without scoring or making an assist..If we have other players scoring like crazy then there is no need for Zabaleta to try and score, that's not really is job..All of sudden football fans tend to think if you don't score goals then that means you are not a good player..The footballing world have gone mad these days.

I don't think Roncaglia is better than Zabaleta, but is more defensive minded. Yes... because Roncaglia is like Sergio Ramos type: DC/DR. Zabaleta is a pure full back either DR or DL sometimes.

However, that does not mean Zabaleta is that special YET for Argentina because so far he's done absolutely nothing for Argentina. He's got 0 goal and 0 assist in 20+ games for us in WCQ and friendlies. Even one of the Mundo's most hated players, Rojo got 0 goal and 1 assist. Well those numbers don't mean that much, but still I expect better performance for Zaba in the World Cup. He can do better offensive and defensively in his role for Argentina "a balanced full back".

Outlaw '' I know what I say and journalist opinion would be certainly biased because Zabaleta has a name and Roncaglia is unknown.''

Sometime ago you said ''Negredo was better than Higuain'' lol Now tell me were you following Negredo before his move to Man City this season? I doubt it. Its funny because even Saldado was rated higher than Negredo in Spain yet he's misfiring on all cylinder in the BPL..

When I'm watching a game of football I pay attention to what the players are doing and what the commentators are saying..Go back and watch the game between Napoli and Ac Milan and listen to what the commentators were saying about Higuain throughout the game...If you never get the stats for national team, here is it again.

Messi 83 games 37 goals

Higuain 35 games 21 goals

Aguero 47 games 21 goals

Tevez 64 games 13 goals

Maxi 50 games 15 goals

Di maria 44 games 9 goals

Lavezzi 28 games 4 goals

Palacio 15 games 2 goals

As you can see, Higuain has a better goal per game ratio than all our current NT goal scorer. yet you keep on saying he miss a lot of goals (who doesn't ?)..Not trying to convince you about Higuain but some of the things you say are laughable especially the joke about ''Roncaglia is better than Zabaleta.'' I like Roncaglia. I followed him at Boca and was sorry to see him go. A very tough kid who works hard and doesn't complain. In that way a lot like Zabaleta. But, he is not the player Zabaleta is, either defensively or in attack. Zabaleta has worked hard to be the player he is and I hope Roncaglia can do exactly the same.

Kidult: I'm probably the highest fun of Argentinian football in Europe. At least Central Europe. I'm loving Argentinian footbal and no other. I'm fun Albicelestes since World Cup 1998. All I want are succeses our team. For that reason I'm tried so questioning as possible. Clear-headed. So make me laughing comment about Higuain like: "he's genious". No, he's not. He's not yet and probably will not. It does matter to me criticism about Higuain or Zabaleta. I therefore wish merely to say that we have most gifted player in Argentinian Nation than Higuain and Zaba. Higuain is just very solid forward. Zabaleta is great in attacking (in City) but more weaker in defending than Roncaglia. I'm watching both matches Fiorentina and City. I know what I say and journalist opinion would be certainly biased because Zabaleta has a name and Roncaglia is unknown.

Do you guys notice that Angel Di Maria position has been officially changed by Ancelotti to a pure attacking midfielder left/center?

Bale is officially the right forward now (Di Maria's old position). CR7 is always a left forward. Jese can back up both (used to be Di Maria). Now with the emergence of Jese, Di Maria plays Iniesta role of Barca in their 4-3-3.

The good news is that is exactly the same position as his in Sabella's Argentina!

Kenneth I don't think Mascherano will be staying at Barcelona after the world cup. It would be best for Mascherano to move on after the world cup, he already won a lot with Barcelona.

The guys on here are so pro Europe, how I see it, is that, its like a sin to play in Argentina or Brazil at this point in time before the world cup..The only difference with Europe is that they make the South American players richer than if they had play back in their home land.

I like the idea of Sabella using both locals and European players for his world cup 23..Otamendi need playing time so he moved to Brazil, what's wrong with that? Brazilian footballers are 10X talented than any country footballers in Europe. Playing for Atletico Mineiro is way better than playing for Man United at the current moment..Brazil number 1 Julio Cesar recently moved to Toronto FC on loan, so does this mean Julio Cesar will be the worst goal keeper at this year summer world cup?
