The guy is playing the toughest league in the world !!I hope Sabella sees that and call him, instead of dead wood Cambiasso !! El Payaso (United States) Posted on 2/11/2014 at 10:51 AM 0 Florentina vs Udinese. Im so hoping that Florentina win the tie. Lets go G. Rodriguez!!Atl madrid vs Real Madrid should be interesting. I wanna see how Atl react. El Payaso (United States) Posted on 2/11/2014 at 10:49 AM 0 Claudio Yacob Vs Chelsea later on today. I think Its fair to consider that as a "Champion's league" level due to the fact that Chelsea is currently one of the best club right now competing in the Cl. Hopefully Yacob can gain some experience from this game. Also he's currently #3 best tackler in the top 5 Leagues in Europe (78 tackles in 22 games) behind Victor Sanchez (84 tackles) and Arturo Vidal (80 tackles). After tonight's game He'll probably surpass Vidal for sure. Lets Go Yacob!!!!! Aslam (Qatar) Posted on 2/11/2014 at 8:36 AM 1 Even though, almost all betting sites going for Messi,Neymar,Ronaldo,Aguero..etc for golden ball....i still believe Higuain will be the player holding the golden ball after the final. KidultHood (United States) Posted on 2/10/2014 at 10:26 PM 0 Abs I meant to say Lazio..I stand corrected :) Abs (United States) Posted on 2/10/2014 at 10:02 PM 2 KidultHood:Biglia plays for Lazio !! KidultHood (United States) Posted on 2/10/2014 at 9:14 PM 1 Baker Biglia is not injured, he was suspended for the derby game this past weekend, he will be back for Napoli in the next game..Hernanes move to Inter Milan means that Biglia will be key for Napoli push in Serie A. mamoun "elpipita" (Iraq) Posted on 2/10/2014 at 4:40 PM 2 Palacio is a good player, a real fighter and I'm very happy to have him on the bench but pipita is one of the fantastic 4 nuff said!As for Roncaglia, well I think the guy did fairly well considering what he had to put up with in his first game with Argentina, I mean talk about trial by fire! In that game it wouldn't have mattered who was playing full back because Sabella miscalculated and had a formation that was ill equipped to deal with Equador's speedy counters coming from the wings. Luckily Sabella is a proper coach and he remedied that in the next game against Bosnia and we all know the score in that game.At the end of the day I'd take anyone and I mean ANYONE over Rojo, which unfortunately isn't going to happen barring a serious injury to Marcos. Although I am ashamed to say that I find myself wishing Rojo would receive an injury that is bad enough to keep him out of the world cup and while I know thats a cruel thing to wish for and say, one has to remember that the albicelestes come first now and always. Dinucci (Argentina) Posted on 2/10/2014 at 4:19 PM 0 Higuain is amazing and zaba is one of the best RB in the world end of story Freeman E (Namibia) Posted on 2/10/2014 at 2:36 PM 0 where is this questioning of Higuain's ability coming from now? Short memory perhaps? KidultHood (United States) Posted on 2/10/2014 at 11:08 AM 0 Why are we still having a discussion about Higuain and Zabaleta places on the team..Can we please move on from this topic? dammage7 (United Kingdom) Posted on 2/10/2014 at 9:01 AM 0 haigain is fine. he will get goals. Diego-maniac (Lebanon) Posted on 2/10/2014 at 7:29 AM 0 Wat r u talking about? Higuain is one of the best players in the world when it comes to creating space in closed areas nd his finishing nd first touch of the ball r fatal... Very few strikers have higuains 1st touch for the ball ... I sometimes see higuain taking 2 to 3 players with his 1st touch for the ball... Also his 1st touch passes could be fatal where he creates a lot of space for his team mates!Higuain however needs to work on improving his air game because when it comes to areal duels he still lacks a strong heart to jump for the ball; he also needs to work on controlling his nerves because sometimes he loses all his concentration infront of goal due to his nervousness! If he works on these 2 pts than higuain will be one of the best number 9s nd he could reach batigols standards nd even exceed him!!! dammage7 (United Kingdom) Posted on 2/10/2014 at 7:20 AM 0 roncaglia can stay outthe 2 overlooked players are Gonzalo Rodriguez (fiorentina) and Gabriel Palleta (parma). Both good for clubs and at least one of them should be going outlaw (Poland) Posted on 2/10/2014 at 6:39 AM 0 Kenneth for instance please compare game against Ecuador to against Bosnia. In first Gonzalo, in second Rodrigo. Higuain against Ecuador was unless. Quite diffrent against Italy when he had Rodrigo long aside. With Palacio we winning our matches. He is excellent addition to Messi and Aguero. outlaw (Poland) Posted on 2/10/2014 at 6:31 AM 0 I'm just trying questioned weak point of us team. In my mind these are: Romero, Zabaleta and perhaps Higuain. I don't mention about Rojo because he schould be quite out of NT for me. outlaw (Poland) Posted on 2/10/2014 at 6:23 AM 0 Kenneth: moreover It is not about beauty of the game. If you want seen result joyfull football and out of touch with reality then remind yourself Maradona's team against Germany in 2010. The aim is winning World Cup not beauty of the game. But I see here mutual admiration society who treat our players like Champions of the World. But aren't Champions yet. We are just pretendent. And favorites are Brazil, Spain, Germany like Sabella said himself. But you are convinced that we have best players in any position. Therefore I see here heavy regarding and ignorance for potential team like above named. For example: It should not be forgotten, though, that Spain and Germany teoretically have much bigger potential and powers in midfield. But you forgetted this. Maybe I am here to wake up you from dogmatic nap. Kenneth (United States) Posted on 2/10/2014 at 6:01 AM 0 @outlaw Palacio is better then Higuian? Explain then please, how you arrived at that :) outlaw (Poland) Posted on 2/10/2014 at 5:37 AM 0 Kenneth you kidding me. I've seen all matches Copa America since 1999. I saw Newell's Boca yesterday... At least once for a week I'm watching Argentinian Primera Division... No comment. outlaw (Poland) Posted on 2/10/2014 at 4:46 AM 0 Yes. Roncaglia played well against Ecuador. He's fighter of indians blood. baker (India) Posted on 2/10/2014 at 2:11 AM 0 is biglia injured...? he was not there in the squad for last 2 matches.. Kenneth (United States) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 11:41 PM 2 @ kid, i feel like people like outlaw who is from Poland and Europe just don't see the beauty of the game through South American Futbol. It's a completely different game, one is an art, the other one is very tactical and built around speed only. So i understand how some people who never watch South American futbol can have those opinions. KidultHood (United States) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 10:26 PM 1 Next outlaw will be saying Emile Heskey is better than Higuain..lol KidultHood (United States) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 10:24 PM 0 @Kenneth I'm not saying anything is wrong with Average players on a team..A lot of times these so call average players are the ones that step up because they have a point to prove. travis (Japan) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 10:23 PM 0 Oh yeah @outlaw one more thing, Palacio is better than Higuan???? Are you kidding? come on dude...Hig is wayyy better than Palacio. travis (Japan) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 10:19 PM 3 @outlaw you are most crazy over here in Mundo haha...of course Zaba is better than Roncaglia. I feel more comfortable with him at the back rather than Roncaglia. Roncaglia screwed many many times against Equador, when Zaba got in, Equador turn to another wimp, that is Orban, but of course I prefer Orban than Roho. Campagnaro is maybe equal to Zaba, but his form isn't better than Zaba at the moment. Kenneth (United States) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 10:13 PM 0 @ kid that's a good point, but usually those " Average" players are what really make the team, players who are willing to sacrifice a lot and do the dirty work kinda like,,well SOSA :D baker (India) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 10:12 PM 1 after pipita now we started the same kind of discussion with zaba....? , am unfollowing this topic..those who are not feeling the importance of zaba clearly not following his matches... KidultHood (United States) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 9:50 PM 2 You will always find average player in every team..All the world cup winning teams had a few average players..You will never find 23 perfect player in one squad.. pablo.d (New Zealand) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 9:39 PM 0 very true those teams with the $$ will always buy the best.some average players can look fantastic in a expensively assembled team (for what ever sport)but take them out of that team and they are still average players and their are others who are the stars and will always be.as for the deluded fool known Pele ask the Brazilians and most do not rate him as their best player of all time and you are correct his "success" was so much because of others where as Diago was the key pele was a lock pick. KidultHood (United States) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 8:50 PM 0 pablo you could say the same about Jordan Chicago bulls star studded winning team; Kobe bryan star studded champion winning team; Lebron James star studded champion winning team..Team work win championships not an individual player, that's why clubs try to buy the best player for every position on a team..Would Pele had great success if he didn't have a great Brazilian team around him? pablo.d (New Zealand) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 8:07 PM 0 "So what if Zabaleta play for a 200 million dollar team"its simple really any player is going to look much better in a team of stars as they will have far better players around them where as if he was playing for wigan or palace any player would not look as good.we will never know but would a messi or cr7 have the same success in their careers if they played for wigan or palace? as they say their is no i in team (unless you are cr7) Kenneth (United States) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 7:36 PM 1 @outlaw Roncaglia played well against Ecaudor? What? outlaw (Poland) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 6:25 PM 0 Maybe... time alone will tell. But - once more - I haven't confidence to Zabaleta in defensive... Campagnaro, Roncaglia are more solid - for me, of course. El Payaso (United States) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 5:35 PM 0 orion is back, andujar played earlier. I see it hard for caballero to be called for th3 next game KidultHood (United States) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 5:23 PM 1 outlaw read the comments on your failed YouTube video..As for as everybody in that comment section goes, majority agreed that Zabaleta had Ribery in his pocket for the entire game..lol KidultHood (United States) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 5:22 PM 0 So outlaw what did your YouTube clip prove? I see Messi and Ronaldo leaving players to sleep everyday..Ribery did nothing, because after all what he did, Zabaleta still won the ball, so this video proves nothing..By the way that was the first and last good moment Ribery had in that game against Zabaleta. Zabaleta was on top of Ribery since he came on as a sub..Remember Munich was running Man City riot before Zabman came on, its when Zabaleta came on for an injured Michael Richards that City was able to get back in the game and City first goal was due to Zabaleta contribution. Again this proves nothing..But then again, Dante and Boateng were nothing special in this same game they were the main reason Bayern lost. outlaw (Poland) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 5:16 PM 0 and Roncaglia wasn't eaten up against Ecuador. He had a quite good game. I've seen that match a few times... El Payaso (United States) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 5:13 PM 0 Frederico Fazio isnt a bad option outlaw (Poland) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 5:09 PM 1 Zabaleta had some problems against Ribery:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4Z1HNh8MnUI'm afraid about Zabaleta as a defensor. that whole matter... Poto (United States) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 4:25 PM 1 Newell and boca are now playing, river plays later against gimnasia. KidultHood (United States) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 3:55 PM 0 outlaw Zabaleta didn't have any problem against Ribery in Munich earlier this year..Also we played Germany in 2012 and Zabaleta did not have any problem with Reus..Its a given that our defenders will be get beaten on a given occasion,no defender in this world will keep out either Ribery or Ronaldo for an entire 90 minutes..Roncaglia was eaten up alive against Ecuador/ Valencia earlier in the USA while Zabman have kept a lid on Valencia every time they've met in the BPL..I'm done with this Roncaglia chit chat now..Roncaglia wont be seeing any playing time under Sabella anytime soon, so why have this debate..Again, who is Roncaglia?Greets outlaw (Poland) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 3:50 PM 0 Cristaldo two goals Amlan (Bangladesh) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 3:49 PM 0 Tevez - 2 goalsMessi - 1 assist, 1 goalPastore - 1 goal so far... Dinucci (Argentina) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 3:39 PM 0 Im getting really tired of how barca is playing. the defense is horrible and and there is no creativity anymore. outlaw (Poland) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 3:33 PM 0 Kidult: I say: Roncaglia is better than Zabaleta in defending. We need great RB who would be stopping Neymar, Ribery, Reuss, Ronaldo (LF)... I'm afraid Zabaleta can't do this. In this position I prefer Campagnaro or Roncaglia. And Palacio instead Higuain. KidultHood (United States) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 1:51 PM 0 So what if Zabaleta play for a 200 million dollar team..Who doesn't play in an expensive team these days.Real, Barca, Man United, Chelsea, Bayern, PSG are all multi rich clubs..take some of the players out of these teams and put them in an average side and see if their performance wouldn't look average...Zabaleta play a different role for Argentina than he does for City..He tend to attack a lot in the BPL but is a more reserve player for NT...el principe Zabman won the Olympics with Argentina without scoring or making an assist..If we have other players scoring like crazy then there is no need for Zabaleta to try and score, that's not really is job..All of sudden football fans tend to think if you don't score goals then that means you are not a good player..The footballing world have gone mad these days. Deb (India) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 1:38 PM 0 For those who say Zabaleta is not the best in the world, well I agree with you. But i ask you one question - wouldn't it be good if we had one just like Zabaleta in our LB as well? pablo.d (New Zealand) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 1:12 PM 0 el principe: I agree as to many people keep watching zab in a 300 million pound team at city and he looks great their but at international level he has been average, a solid player but not a world beater. el principe (United States) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 11:56 AM 0 I don't think Roncaglia is better than Zabaleta, but is more defensive minded. Yes... because Roncaglia is like Sergio Ramos type: DC/DR. Zabaleta is a pure full back either DR or DL sometimes. However, that does not mean Zabaleta is that special YET for Argentina because so far he's done absolutely nothing for Argentina. He's got 0 goal and 0 assist in 20+ games for us in WCQ and friendlies. Even one of the Mundo's most hated players, Rojo got 0 goal and 1 assist. Well those numbers don't mean that much, but still I expect better performance for Zaba in the World Cup. He can do better offensive and defensively in his role for Argentina "a balanced full back". KidultHood (United States) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 10:54 AM 0 Outlaw '' I know what I say and journalist opinion would be certainly biased because Zabaleta has a name and Roncaglia is unknown.''Sometime ago you said ''Negredo was better than Higuain'' lol Now tell me were you following Negredo before his move to Man City this season? I doubt it. Its funny because even Saldado was rated higher than Negredo in Spain yet he's misfiring on all cylinder in the BPL..When I'm watching a game of football I pay attention to what the players are doing and what the commentators are saying..Go back and watch the game between Napoli and Ac Milan and listen to what the commentators were saying about Higuain throughout the game...If you never get the stats for national team, here is it again.Messi 83 games 37 goalsHiguain 35 games 21 goalsAguero 47 games 21 goalsTevez 64 games 13 goalsMaxi 50 games 15 goalsDi maria 44 games 9 goalsLavezzi 28 games 4 goalsPalacio 15 games 2 goalsAs you can see, Higuain has a better goal per game ratio than all our current NT goal scorer. yet you keep on saying he miss a lot of goals (who doesn't ?)..Not trying to convince you about Higuain but some of the things you say are laughable especially the joke about ''Roncaglia is better than Zabaleta.'' (lol)Greets! Diego-maniac (Lebanon) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 10:23 AM 0 Andujar is playing today for Catania vs Parma ! Nd so far he has a clean sheet Johnny (Thailand) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 9:52 AM 0 I like Roncaglia. I followed him at Boca and was sorry to see him go. A very tough kid who works hard and doesn't complain. In that way a lot like Zabaleta. But, he is not the player Zabaleta is, either defensively or in attack. Zabaleta has worked hard to be the player he is and I hope Roncaglia can do exactly the same. outlaw (Poland) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 9:49 AM 0 Kidult: I'm probably the highest fun of Argentinian football in Europe. At least Central Europe. I'm loving Argentinian footbal and no other. I'm fun Albicelestes since World Cup 1998. All I want are succeses our team. For that reason I'm tried so questioning as possible. Clear-headed. So make me laughing comment about Higuain like: "he's genious". No, he's not. He's not yet and probably will not. It does matter to me criticism about Higuain or Zabaleta. I therefore wish merely to say that we have most gifted player in Argentinian Nation than Higuain and Zaba. Higuain is just very solid forward. Zabaleta is great in attacking (in City) but more weaker in defending than Roncaglia. I'm watching both matches Fiorentina and City. I know what I say and journalist opinion would be certainly biased because Zabaleta has a name and Roncaglia is unknown. KidultHood (United States) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 9:03 AM 0 outlaw go on BBC or Sky Sport soccer or the Guardian and ask any of the journalist who they think is better at RB between Zabaleta and Roncaglia ? Zabaleta would get all the votes..By the way who in the world is Roncaglia? Roncaglia would not make a single team in the BPL as a right back not even the ones in relegation..Man you need to stop with these baseless comments with no facts to prove such things..And I see you on every Higuain article saying the guy is terrible, whats wrong with you friend..First it was Liomair from India now we got outlaw with these outrageous comments..I wonder if you and leomair or related. haman (Bahrain) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 9:02 AM 0 If we had a pair of Zabaletas in our squad our left side debate would've been settled!Pablo is a class RB in terms of efficiency, despite his lack of pace. He's a player that every coach needs in his team!Roncaglia would be a good backup for him. Johnny (Thailand) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 8:51 AM 0 @Outlaw-not so. Caniggia (Hong Kong) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 7:58 AM 0 @elPrincipe - yeah Ancelotti actually mentioned that DiMaria can play there because that is the same position for him in the Argentina national team. It was on an ESPN article. Win win! outlaw (Poland) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 6:59 AM 0 Roncaglia is really better in defending than Zabaleta. Much better. Things are quite diffrent when we talking about offense. el principe (United States) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 6:14 AM 1 Do you guys notice that Angel Di Maria position has been officially changed by Ancelotti to a pure attacking midfielder left/center? Bale is officially the right forward now (Di Maria's old position). CR7 is always a left forward. Jese can back up both (used to be Di Maria). Now with the emergence of Jese, Di Maria plays Iniesta role of Barca in their 4-3-3.The good news is that is exactly the same position as his in Sabella's Argentina! Kenneth (United States) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 5:23 AM 0 @dammage7 I agree with the current run of form of G. Rodriguez but not Roncaglia..not by any stretch dammage7 (United Kingdom) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 4:37 AM 0 sorry guys, but gonzalo rodriguez and roncaglia >>> mussachioi think otamendi will certainly go as 1st back up.i think sabella will take campagnaro as he likes him especially in a 3 man back travis (Japan) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 1:47 AM 0 Anybody knows about Sabella 23 squad that would be, or possibly going with him to Brazil this june?I just want to know some bad luck that he will take along with him there. Poto (United States) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 12:30 AM 0 @kidulthood like around 5:00 eastern time. haman (Bahrain) Posted on 2/9/2014 at 12:13 AM 0 This is actually an advantage to him being Brazil before the WC. I think Sabella will include him with the final 23 due to this move, which makes it easier for the player to adapt to the Samba ground! KidultHood (United States) Posted on 2/8/2014 at 11:06 PM 0 Poto what time is the game!?! (USA time) Poto (United States) Posted on 2/8/2014 at 11:04 PM 0 anybody in here are going to watch newells vs boca ever banega is starting, maxi and banega vs gago and sanchez mino. argamit (India) Posted on 2/8/2014 at 10:49 PM 0 agree with Kenneth . mussachio is deserving candidate for NT. he is way better & consistent than Fernandez . too late to change sabella's preferred starting pair . but hope mussachio atleast gets the backup CB spot . KidultHood (United States) Posted on 2/8/2014 at 10:39 PM 0 Kenneth I don't think Mascherano will be staying at Barcelona after the world cup. It would be best for Mascherano to move on after the world cup, he already won a lot with Barcelona. The guys on here are so pro Europe, how I see it, is that, its like a sin to play in Argentina or Brazil at this point in time before the world cup..The only difference with Europe is that they make the South American players richer than if they had play back in their home land.I like the idea of Sabella using both locals and European players for his world cup 23..Otamendi need playing time so he moved to Brazil, what's wrong with that? Brazilian footballers are 10X talented than any country footballers in Europe. Playing for Atletico Mineiro is way better than playing for Man United at the current moment..Brazil number 1 Julio Cesar recently moved to Toronto FC on loan, so does this mean Julio Cesar will be the worst goal keeper at this year summer world cup? Kenneth (United States) Posted on 2/8/2014 at 9:42 PM 0 On another note, the few parts of Villareal/Real Madrid i watched, i liked Mussachio, i think he is our next big thing and i would love if Sabella included him in this friendly come March. Would love even more if Barca picked him up over the summer to partner Pique/Masch Kenneth (United States) Posted on 2/8/2014 at 9:39 PM 1 Wow people on this forum are really against our players going back to Argentina/brazil, i think Brazil has a really strong league, if they're known for one thing it's attackers. Personally, i'd rather have our defenders tested in a country who breeds some of the best forwards in the world, then in England who hasn't had a solid forward since Gary Lineker Poto (United States) Posted on 2/8/2014 at 8:36 PM 0 The only good thing about this is that he is going to play in the copa libertadores that's it. Abs (United States) Posted on 2/8/2014 at 7:25 PM 0 Is he in an argument with Porto ? Dinucci (Argentina) Posted on 2/8/2014 at 6:44 PM 0 Why a few months before wc? Gonna hurt his chances Dinucci (Argentina) Posted on 2/8/2014 at 6:24 PM 0 Ridiculous. Messidona1986 (Lebanon) Posted on 2/8/2014 at 5:22 PM 0 Wow is he that keen to move on from Porto?
