Vicente del BOSQUE: Argentina's forwards!

Vicente del BOSQUE spoke about Alejandro SABELLA, the World Cup and more.

Vicente del BOSQUE commented about the Argentina National Team, Spain winning the World Cup and more. Here's what he said about Spain winning the World Cup:

"The fact that Spain has won the World Cup in the MESSI era has more merit."

About Argentina:
"Argentina has had a tradition of producing good coaches, such as MENOTTI and BILARDO. I consider SABELLA a balanced coach, someone who properly represents Argentinian futbol. When I look at the Argentina National Team, I just think of the forwards they have! The forwards are a problem and I don't know how he will resolve it, heh, he has a lot of good players.

Sabella is the sixth best coach's selections, according to a ranking compiled by the IFFHS. Del Bosque is #1

I think the Spanish coach is keeping a close eye on the Argentineans. I am sure, deep within all the European nations fear that its going to be a World Cup strong enough for the South Americans to outperform them in their own Continent.

Nevertheless, Sabella has to immediately confirm his first choice GK and defenders. I would definitely go for Cabellero without doubt. Upto Sabella....

@Fred You are right about that. If all this was fake or FIFA arranged all the matches somehow, then what's the point of watching it? This is not WWE. World Cup is real, there's no such thing as FIFA arranged who won the WC previous years, won last year, who win this year or next. If so, then maybe FIFA created Maradona, Zidane, both Messi and Ronaldo as well. Come on, grow up.

Sometimes I think people are talking too much about manipulation of FIFA behind the scene. If you truly believe in it, then what's the point to watch matches. They are fake.

FIFA doesn't care who wins it at the end as long as the host reaches the semi at least especially a football nation as Brazil with all the narrative surrounding their WC hosting journey -starting a few years ago. FIFA will make sure that Brazil reaches the semi at least, after that if they lose, the party will go on and their loss is not costly since they still play 7 games regardless (guarantee the crowd involvement). Having said that, FIFA will do their best to give a boost to Brazil in the QF if the latter faces difficulty qualifying for semis

People saying FIFA wont let Argentina win the world cup in Brazil but I think Blatter would love to see Messi lifting the cup, that would write the next chapter in football, not by Brazil winning it..Brazil doesn't deserve to win the next world cup period..

Oh man, that interview with Messi was brilliant. He sounded very confident approaching the way to the world cup, his smile is genuinely presented with every thought. His responses are all spontaneous which tell you how direct and honest this person is. Love Leo, when he speaks his mind, Ronaldo should stop gelling his hair for once and listens to his idol.

If Argentina goes all the way to the final, and lets say they face Brazil, I don't think the Brazilian fans will have an affect on the Argentina team by that time, plus Argentina will feel at home as much as Brazil..Argentine players are use to playing in Brazil whether it be national football or Copa Lib tournament..I don't see our boys being intimidated by the Brazilian fan base plus we will have our supporters although Brazil will get majority of the ticket sales if they make the final..

This time last year, I was not worried about spain. Their forwards were abysmal and their game was predictable!
This year, it's looking a bit different! with Negredo and Llorente in form....spain are serious contenders once again....o I forgot diego costa (highest or second highest goalscorer in la liga).
Damn! Spain now has forwards!!

Latest Messi News:

“We [Barcelona] are taking things one step at a time but, to tell the truth, the World Cup’s on all of our minds already,” Messi told Fifa.com. “But we’ve got lots of important challenges before that: the Champions League; trying to retain the Liga title; the Copa del Rey ...”

"World Cup games are totally different. Right from the off, the atmosphere and the build up make it different to any other competition," the 26-year-old attacker said. “While the Champions League is great, the World Cup is special.”

“There’s been a lot of talk about how easy it’s going to be, that Argentina are bound to go through comfortably, but it’s a World Cup and there are no easy teams," he said. “If they’re there it’s because they deserve to be – there are no straightforward matches at a World Cup.”

“In physical and mental terms I’m in good shape for these coming six months," he said. "I think the time in Argentina went well, though I can’t say I had much contact with people, as I was more focused on my recovery.”

After reading what Messi said, it goes to show that he doesn't care much about winning the UCL this season, but he would still like to win everything possible though.

Frank Ribery:

"It was clear that Ronaldo would win it. The voting deadline was extended by two weeks. This had never happened before. It wasn't about football. It was a political decision."

Ribery then went on to criticise the FifPro World XI as just three Bayern players made the cut against four Barcelona players.

"There are only three Bayern players in there. That's madness. [Thomas] Muller deserves to be there, and so do [David] Alaba, [Bastian] Schweinsteiger and [Arjen] Robben. We won five titles and made history.

"And then there's the absence of Borussia Dortmund players... Where are [Mario] Gotze and [Robert] Lewandowski? This is impossible."

Well said by Del Bosque. I never felt really safe with our other coach. To get big achievement you require a good plan and Sabella has that. I don’t even mind if he call pkayer like Sosa or anyone because this has plan and he is the man and he knows exactly what he doing. You don't need all star XI to win it. He is a smart coach and this guy even work if the field. We couldn't ask anything more than that
*A good well technician coach
*A group of player who has good chemistry and bonding each other
*A good draw and path to final
*we don't have to travel long distance unlike other teams in WC

The next 3 years there will be 3 great competitions:
1. World Cup 2014
2. Copa America 2015 at Chile
3. Copa America 2016 (100 years anniversary of Copa America) at USA (?). This will involve 16 teams including 4 North American teams.

If we win the second, then there will be:

4. Confederation Cup 2017

And finally...

5. World Cup 2018.

So we will be extremely busy for the next 4 years ahead. As fans, we should be happy with all this.

Of course, they fear Argentina forward, but can't stop laughing looking at the current goalie. If Argentina puts Caballero in, the opponents will fear Argentina more, and there's no chance for them in Brazil, but at the moment, every opponents thinks they're champion.

ARGENTINA 2014 should be:
Caballero, Zabaleta, Gonzalo R, Garay, Ansaldi, Mascherano, Gago, Maria, Messi, Kun, Higuain.

And we are champion!!!
