Mauro ICARADI spoke about getting called-up for Argentina.
Mauro ICARDI spoke about his chance with Argentina. Here's what he had to say:
"In Italy, they know I'm Argentinian. The only Italian thing about me is my passport. I always want to be here, in my country with the people I've always known. I've been... I've been waiting for this. I've wanted to be here since I played for the youth teams. I had the chance at U17 and U20 level. Now I'm here and I'm very happy. I've always said I wanted to play for the National Team and here I am today, in the group, it's a dream for me."
"I'm here because of MESSI's injury. They've given me the opportunity and I hope to take advantage of it."
"I'm 20 years old, I have a lot to learn and a lot to work. If I get the call to the World Cup, it would be something beautiful. But there are a few ahead of me. For the forwards, they're world class."
