Hernan CRESPO wants to become coach

Legendary Argentine forward Hernan CRESPO commented on Diego SIMEONE's job as coach of Atletico Madrid and has stated that he would one day like to become coach.

Hernan CRESPO, a name that goes hand in hand with goals, spoke about how well Diego SIMEONE is doing in charge of Atletico Madrid. Here's what he had to say:

"He has had a coaching soul, he’s an extraordinary person. For me it was a pleasure to see the team training. They work with the obligation of doing things right, with a lot of intensity and a lot of play. They work intensively, but they also have fun."

"SIMEONE to lead Argentina one day? I have an idea, perhaps wrongly, but I think that when you are a coach you have to build up the experience, at a young age and with momentum, you want to work every day and need contact with players to improve."

"I think that when you pass 50, that is the time to get into the national team. That is my way of thinking, but for SIMEONE, if it is his dream, or his desire... but if there is a need to live actively and day by day then in this the national team falls short."

Hernan CRESPO who will be visiting Real Madrid, spoke about wanting to coach:

“I know that as a player I did not get the opportunity to play in Spain, but when I dream of coaching, I always dream of the elite in world football and that means Spain, Italy or England. That is what I aspire to."

Hernan CRESPO scored 35 goals in 64 matches for Argentina.

Milito is the kind of player who never make it at the national team level .. it is fair to say he didn't get a fair chance, but with the national team you hardly take chances, so you better give 200% when you get one !

Pipita on the other hand has done it all for the national team !!

Poor Crespo, I liked him. Let's just hope he becomes a Gareca and not a Maradona.

And I disagree about Milito, he may have been a goleador in the teams he used to play for, but in the NT he showed very little—Higuaín showed a lot when he was given the chance and that's why he's still there.

Crespo had been replaced as soon as Gonzalo Higuain turned down France for the Albiceleste....Gonzalo has 18 goals in 31 games. Hernan Crespo had. 34 goals in 64 matches...very close stats with higuain with the upper hand....still batigol is the greatest goal scorer ever for us, #9 or not...and when it's all said and done...higuain and Messi will be close...

@haman

Milito was a real goliador , his only curse was Maradona being the NT coach back in 2010

If #9 would fit someone it'd be Hernan Crespo, the real Goliador that Argentina couldn't produce any replacement for until now!
