A rumored name for the next qualifiers

An Argentine playing in Mexico could be called-up to the National Team and SABELLA talks about playing in Bolivia.

Alejandro SABELLA's assistant Claudio GUGNALI travelled to Mexico to watch the Argentine players with Monterrey. One name that is being rumored is that of Jose Maria BASANTA (28, defender), who used to play for Estudiantes.

"BASANTA? Claudio GUGNALI was in Mexico to see some players in the Mexican league... There are a few, but I won't name names."

For the match against Bolivia:
"For Bolivia, we'll likely travel there the day before."

The rumored name of Jose Maria BASANTA is just that, a rumor.

We won't see fantastic four against Venezuela but we might see the fantastic four against Bolivia. Facing Bolivia in an away game would be our toughest test. As we know, Bolivia the 100+ in FIFA ranking play like the first ranking when playing at home against strong countries like us.

The best way to deal with the altitude is to be top of the table so that you can drop points and it not be big deal, which Argentina has done.

Maybe Sabella will start some new faces in the Bolivia match.

Sabella on Lamela and Burdisso

“They are in good form right now, but their footballing state is not the only factor to consider – their behaviour also counts.”

Well, lets put it this way.

The altitude, the best way to combat it is, either go weeks in advanced(which is basically impossible) or go as late as possible. If you go a couple days ahead of time, it's not really good. It's a tough place to play, no doubt. If Bolivia could play in La Paz all the time, they would have a shot of qualifying.
