Talking to Fox Sports Latin America, Diego MARADONA talked about Argentina's elimination from the last World Cup and Lionel MESSI.
In a lengthy interview, two of the topics MARADONA spoke about was Argentina's elimination from the 2010 World Cup and Lionel MESSI. When asked about the teams elimination, here's what MARADONA said:
"MESSI was the one who cried the most. I'm saying this to all those who say that MESSI doesn't "feel the shirt". I was in a room with MANCUSO and ENRIQUE and we heard MESSI cry. Only MESSI. That's something I will never forget in my life."
About Lionel MESSI:
"Every match that passes by, he does something new and I think it's great."
"Everyone talks about MESSI. Now, the Argentine journalists are MESSI's friends. When MESSI wasn't scoring, he didn't sing the anthem, he was Spanish."
"I think that MESSI makes Barcelona play the way he wants. I think that the last time Xavi was injured, he played deeper and wreaked havoc. You don't have to tell him anything."
