Lionel MESSI to wear Ballon d'Or boots

As Barcelona prepare to play the first leg of the Copa del Rey against Malaga, with Martin DEMICHELIS, Diego BUONANOTTE and Javier SAVIOLA, Adidas has prepared a special surprise for the four time Ballon d'Or winner.

Lionel MESSI will be presenting his Ballon d'Or at the Camp Nou and will be wearing these cleets/boots which Adidas has designed for him.

The cleets have four Sol de Mayo or Sun of May's (the same sun which is on the Argentine flag) with the years 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 on each one.

now this sounds great:
FA invite Argentina to the anniversary party as England target Wembley friendly
England are in talks to bring old foes Argentina to Wembley as the final piece of their 150th anniversary celebrations.
A friendly being planned for November would pitch Lionel Messi against Roy Hodgson’s team......
Argentina have not played at Wembley since February 2000 but they have been bitter rivals of England since an ill-tempered clash in the 1966 World Cup......

No doubt football is a big industry. Commercial and branding are important and part of life. Anyway, the boots looks fantastic and have a great design; Messi did score with this although Barca have face Malaga again to settle the winner and go through next round
