Boca Juniors in talks with Fernando GAGO

Fernando GAGO could be on his way back to his old club Boca Juniors.

Boca Juniors has stated that they have made an offer for GAGO. With the January transfer window now open, it's possible GAGO could make his way back to Argentina. Boca Juniors general secretary Cesar MARTUCCI had this to say about the situation:

"We made a proposal to Fernando that we have not had answered yet. GAGO expressed his willingness to return and now we must pass this [to the] leaders of Valencia."

Gago should move to Liverpool or City if any of the teams ask for him, otherwise he should remain where he is .. Oh, too bad Malaga have financial problems, it would be nice to see him there !!

Agreed with ddr1123-I don't think Gago is cut out for the EPL. Spain or Italy.

Why is is it too early to say hello to Argentina? It is never too early to come back home and play.

gago plays much better for the NT compared to the club. However, there seems to be an issue with settling down. He made a big issue for the firing of Pellegrini. I think that's why he is leaving Valencia. Otherwise Valencia is the right type of club for him.

I do not think he can be effective in England. The game is too fast for him and he is not strong enough. Though Mancini likes him. I remember the Madrid Liverpool game when Real Madrid los 0-4. Gago only could come into the game in the second half after Liverpool was done scoring and took the foot off the gas.

Anyway, if he stays and plays with Banega it will be good.

Valencia paid 3.5, a bargain at that. No way they don't move him for a profit. This guy won't end up in Argentina until his days with the NT are done.

You'd think Man U would make a bid. Exactly the type of player they need right now...and I don't even like Man U.

Players as talented as Gago rarely head back to Argentina at such a young age. I'm sure Boca would like to have him, but often these stories about Boca making offers to big name Europe players is more for local consumption than anything else. Kind of wishing/hoping and letting their fans know what they would "like to do".

i've said it before and i'll say it again...i Could care less how the N/T team players do for their clubs as long as they produce for the N/T Shirt. :)

Not yet find a good club that can accommodate and explore his talent. Say goodbye to La Liga Go to England - as its too early to return to Argentina

this guy should have host of big clubs clambering after him from manure to liverpool to mighty Tottenham to a host in spain or italy.
Gago is very good player but sadly is being mistreated by a series of clubs, im sad to see it being this way for him and for the n/t as in the end he needs to be playing in the top leagues to compete with others of the same calibre week in and week out.
