Most of these players deserve to be on the list except for Balotelli, Rooney, Sergio ramos, didier drogba with his fluke champion league win against barcelona yes fluke!, piqué , busquets, Ozil, zlatan ibra, and Benzema. All the rest perform consistently and worthy to be on the list.

Balotelli and Benzema, both had good seasons but not enough for this short list. Pique and Ozil? great players but very inconsistent seasons for both. Great to see Kun in there and I personally think that Pirlo should be a finalist.

I don't know why Benzema is there, Higuain is better. Also still remember Gago's case. Ya, Wayne Rooney is short listed because of his popularity only or because at least one English player must be on the list. Other undeserved is Pique, not so influential because of his injury and dispute with Guardiola.

Although Benzema was trusted more, but Higuain still scored more goals. 2. Angel Di Maria: Why would they put Ozil on the list and left Di Maria out? Ask Mou, who's more important for the team. Stats and performance wise answer everything. 6 Madrid players are listed but them. So they are saying that 6 players perform better/are more important for Madrid than Higuain and Di Maria? Plus these two players have been great for the national team. They make Argentina 3rd place in FIFA ranking (this month). It is our highest position in along time. One more thing. Wayne Rooney? Gimme a break. First round embarassing loss in CL last year, embarassing performance with England in Euro cup. 0 (ZERO) trophy with MU last season.
