You also have three subs so if like you said one of them got hurt then it'll be Clemente will replace him. I don't think Matias will ever get the chance to even play as a sub. Even if both get hurt, then Mascherano will play RB, Clemente LB and Guinza will play with Gago. Now if Mascherano gets a red card after all that .. then I guess we'll play with 10 players .. So still no chance for Matias !!

Posted on 10/15/2012 at 11:45 AM 0 I agree with Chandran. Matias is already in Chile and it is an easy call up that doesn't ruffle any feathers. I doubt he'll see any playing time barring an injury. Campagnaro, Zabaleta and Clemente are all ahead of him. Besides, he's and attacking fullback rather than a defensive presence. Off topic-I see where Borghi was suspended for 4 matches. I don't remember the reason for that. What did Bichi do ?

Posted on 10/15/2012 at 8:55 AM 0 I've only seen this kid in the Copa Libertadores, looked very good going forward but at this point I'm more interested in a RB who's a top notch defender. That being said, there could be a place for him in games where Argentina wants to go with a 4 man midfield. Hopefully this is a sign that once Argentina qualifies Sabella will have some more adventurous call ups.

But for this replacement hey Matias is a Fast player I heard like that but his Defencive abilities is suspitious dont know havent seen him much only heard about him, but guys this match is playing in conditions were Matiaz is soo familiar to, Ironic isnt it i think he can play understanding the condition may be he will be used as a sub, Highly unlikely though, Frankly speaking would like to see how some of our Subs play when given opportunity, When Sabella gonna use them aleast in friendlies Hmm No idea against SA hope we can see some unused players.

Posted on 10/15/2012 at 12:37 AM 0 @cleanball...namaskar..:)..yap...i have faith on this defence....i think sabella also have faith...even some of us(me also) prefer campagnaro over zabaleta in RB position ...also Lisandro Lopez is a good player...but i think this team needs a permanent squad...specially in defence...:)

Posted on 10/14/2012 at 8:19 PM 0 Zabaleta defensively is normally sound (when playing for Man City) his problem with the National team is he is always out of position and is to slow to make up for it. I too would like to see Matias, but in the end i'll leave it up to Sabella as it is obvious he knows a lot more than us.

Posted on 10/14/2012 at 4:05 PM 2 Mati is quite the good player, I like the fact that Sabella actually called up a player since Rojo is down and as well as Peruzzi(Not sure where Rojo stands as of now). It will be interesting to see him play if in fact he does. I doubt it, because the game is Tuesday and was just called up, might not have enough time to get in the mold of things. I expect the back line to look like this, Zabaleta,Garay,Fernandez,Campagnaro. So, again it will be interesting because Zabaleta normally gets replaced by Campagnaro. So who knows what will happen.
