CAMPAGNARO in place of GARAY in training

Alejandro SABELLA held his first training session on Tuesday, setting up a 4-3-3.

The team was set-up in a 4-3-3, with CAMPAGNARO in place of GARAY and MARTINEZ in place of MESSI, who had just arrived hours before the training. Here was the line-up:

ROMERO; ZABALETA, FERNANDEZ, CAMPAGNARO, ROJO; GAGO, MASCHERANO, DI MARIA; HIGUAIN, AGUERO and MARTINEZ.

@fanfan I think Tango is doing well under Sabella-it's not boring and no nonsense. He dare to write-off the big names for the team sake and put the emphasis on team works whereas before - Tango was just a collection of talented players with no plan and games strategy - everything runs on their own and selfish.Keep growing
Vamos Argentina

It will most probably a 4-3-3 with the fantastic 4 only surprises we can expect is in the Defence. I dont think Campagnaro would be tried at Cb if he is tried then also no problem Campagnaro can replace Garay. but whoes gonna be the RB and LB? Will peruzzi gets started and zabaleta moved to LB? Donnow lets see.

higuain's misses is one of the main reason for the 8 points gap between real and barca... arjentina cant afford those kind of point blank misses... we need a tall and quick striker as a back for higuain.. may be licha lopez...but he isnt as tall as higuain!!

With Rojo and Zabaleta as laterals Argentina will not go far in the world cup. These players are too limited for the NT.Gago and Maschesrano cannot hold the for 2 seconds. So Argentina will be a boring team to watch.Hopefully they will not be crushed in WCQ,because we are not playing against the BIG TEAMS,which is unfortunate because people will think Sabella is good. We all know somewhere deep in our heart the team is not good, exactly because of the stupid choices of Sabella.Against Uruguay I predict a huge disapointment for the Albicelete fans.

@ilyas if argentina tried to keep the line up a secret, even we would not know it.

@ilyas people know by now nothing is going to change in Sabella's plan besides if Sosa will be included or not.

@iLyas, i think it is an open training with lots of reporters and supporters and ultimately for the strategy and players selection is tightly close and not for our consume; that Sabella's inner control and authority All the comments here is just assuming and open discussion relatively no harmful to the N/T and giving information to our opponents.

It is not wise reporting the activities of our camp directyly...pls so many teams have web site but non of themleak the secret of their pattern days before the match proper. Look at what happen to el clasico recently,I am a regular visitor of FCbarcelona.com but you hardly see them revealing what they practicing before any match. They kept the entire world in the dark as to who would partner Mascharano in defence till few hours before the game they mentioned Anderiano and even Morinho never espect that. Pls instead,Roy you can be posting the pictures of the players during training and mention the number of players participated.

that looks like a 4-2-3-1 to me....it is a matter fact knowing the personal.... gago and masch holding mids in front of the defensive wall with aguero, messi and dimaria behind Higuain up front.....4-3-3 with DiMaria as a number 10? hell no! thats a 4-2-3-1 for sure!

That will not be the final Formation Garay and Messi may havent reached there thats why Campagnaro got played at CB, Will Zabaleta be replaced with Campagnaro or Peruzzi at RB or will Sabella stick to Zabaleta?lets hope that our fantastic 4 cause havoc in Urugays defence and headache to their Gud GK.

I think Sabella first choice will still be Garay unless he is unfit, formation of 4-3-3 are suitable as we play in home.

Any idea why Campagnaro instead of Garay? Garay had a great game against Barcelona.

Also if Argentina continues with this formation other teams will have to sit back and defend because they know this is to much fire power for any team to handle. So really if it works out it could be a case of "the best defense is a good offense" with the balance of Masch and Gago of course haha. Lets hope all goes well and we get the victory
