Guys, am not against Lisandro to be called by Sabella, if anything I believe I am one of his big supporters. I've been asking for him since he use to play with Porto.
What I meant by his age, is maybe Sabella isn't considering him bcoz of his age, and he have tones of younger strikers.
I really want him to join the national team though !!

I agree, 29 is a perfect age. In a squad you need a mix of youth for their energy and experience. Also certain positions do not sour with age: a classic #9 that uses skill and power (Drogba, Batistuta), a classic #10 that uses intelligence (Xavi, Maradona, Zidane), a centerback that uses experience (Samuel, etc), goal keepers (too many to list). Zanneti as a graying man is still in the top 20 wing backs of the world, we should judge based on ability, not age. Also there is the 'this is my last WC' factor for some veterans, I thought Heinze was one of our best players last WC, you could see it in his eyes he was determined to win, he knew it was all or nothing and so he gave it all on the field.. that is a good thing. We wont hungry youth and glory seeking veterans.

29 is not a Bad age he was always been avoided by all coaches not only Sabella. He more looks like a leader captain of Lyon. he need to be given his chance. What to do some talented players in AArgentina have always been treated unfairly. Somany examples r ther Aimar,D Alessandro etc etc somany names.Sometimes Talent is not enough there should also be some Luck.

Lizandro Lopez has always been consistent in scoring goals for Lyon he seems to be a matured player He is the one who has to be used as a back up for Higuain, But sadly all the coaches overlooks him for some reason.Donnow why.

You can't consider that as an assist as Licha's goal came by a self effort all the way from midfield.
