@ Jack!:

I don't think USA friendly was a tough match to draw 0-0 .. I was in NY Giant Stadium in that game, we played very bad even though it was almost the starting XI by that time !!

Since 93, where we beat Mexico in the final, we got jinxed !!

I would ignore Bolt's comment for the following reasons..
1. He's Man U fan (Ronald was former ManU player)
2. As I've read somewhere Ronaldo invited him for some of his earlier match & that makes him friend not Messi's.
3. Last but not least, more than anyone & anything I believe my f****** eyes rather than someone else's tounge, period!

Yupp i agree with u @Leandro 100% There r other players too who has a great Body like Balotelli , Cavani (OMG Cavani has a great body)have a great body almost all footballers have 6 pack too :P but that dont mean they r best in the world. that belongs to those who have some magic. Thats whome we have our own Little MESSI.

The simple way to describe Messi is . He plays football like a Child. with innocence when he looses ball he track back like a child. which is a natural reaction of anybody when playing football, like when a Child is lost his Lollypop he becomes angry too. Its his innocence which i like the most.

Once a player reaches a certain bare minimum level of fitness, any body type in almost any position can shine. Futbol is a well balanced sport where no one has a huge advantage just on physicality alone, if that where the case Pepe would be the player to beat. 90% of soccer is intelligence, experience, discipline and creativity. Christiano unfortunately flunks out of at least one of the above. Also, dont under estimate Messi physically, he is wicked fast. I heard a commentator say that he was clocked and from a standing start to top speed he is faster than anyone, even Mr.Bolt (Bolt peaks at high speed). Also Messi is very strong and has impecable balance.. not to mention his skill set.

I hate when some says that Ronaldo is more complete than Messi .If he is sooooo complete why dont he produce something Messi does day in and day out in every Matches or why didnt he won Ballon Dore 3 times consequtevly.Frankly speaking just as a football fan i have seen Ronaldo in some matches and in Euros recently i havent seen anything Iniesta is far better than Ronaldo evry time Iniesta gets ball something he does Just like Messi, Firs let Ronaldo reach the level of Iniesta Messi is wayyyyyyyyy tooo far.
And in another point is Messi with his all physicall disadvantagoes has achieved sooo much so that he is compared to the legends and counted amoung the best in the history only at 25. Imagine if he was more COMPLETE PHYSICALLY. And Ronaldo have never been compared to legends becose he aint that special but Messi is.End of Story

@ eranho (first question)i think the rivalry is more friendly now. i live in usa and our main rivals are the mexicans.
(second question) i think they mean that ronaldo is more physically complete.

usain bolt has come out and stated that ronaldo is more complete than messi. i dont understand when people like bolt & pele mentions the word "complete" about ronaldo. is it dating models , driving lambos to training ground, having orgies with whores, appearing in Armani underwear and bragging about himself makes ronaldo a complete player?

maybe bolt doesnt know that messi has 3 Ballon d'Or to ronaldos 1.

i m asking this question to all the Argentinians. does the "heated rivalry " that existed in the 20 century between brazilian & argentinian fans still exists ? i m asking this , bcoz nowadays Brazilian & Argentinian players seems to get along with each other.

I agree with that @Soumya Lucho can any day replace Sosa he can Command the Midfield. But since first 2 Matches he havent been in Sabellas prefered list of players.i donnow may be had some form issues in France too i guess. But he always plays decently in Midfield for us.A tall Commanding figure in Midfield. I would rather prefer Lucho than having Maxi too at this age.
And what was that interview about No Idea about the SPANISH language.

How do you know riBer would of bought him? lol.

riBer would have Radamel Falcao García
,Alexis Sanchez,Higuain,Aimar Mascherano,Lucho,Cambiasso just to name you a few players. Majority of these players came through the riBer ranks(minus Lucho,Alexis).

Plus I don't see Central selling any players to any of the cinco grandes. Plus with Di Maria I doubt Central would of gone down.

i think lucho gonzalez will be effective in WC2014....and i also beleive he is better than Rodrigo Braña.....he is 31 now will be 33 in 2014...where as in 2014 Braña will be 35.....also lucho can play ATT mid role instead of di maria ....then di maria will play as winger....messi dimaia aguero lucho gago mascherano collocini fernandez and two full backs.....think about it....i think it will be effective for WC14....

i realy dont like players leaving argentina at such a young age as its hurting our league.Argentina primera division would be the best league in the world if it could keep its players. imagine a river with higuain, di maria, lamela or boca with teves. newls with messi. aguero pastore on other teams.

It has nothing to do with luck or a curse, we always kick Mexico's ass, and then we fold against a better team. We will continue to beat Mexico whenever we match up. If we play Mexico in the R16 again in 2014, then if we play lets say, Sweden in the QF we will win, but if we play a strong team we could have issues. Mexico is not our concern. The deeper you go in a tourney you will face better teams.

End of story.

Do you know what happened on the following game of those for games where we beaten Mexico ?

Well, let me tell you..
We lost to Brazil 4-1
We lost to Germany in PKs
We drawn with USA 0-0
We Lost to Germany 4-0

As much as I enjoy kicking the Mexican's a$$, I hate facing them even when I know for sure that we'll beat them.

Here are two of the many questions Trobbiani was asked during an interview in June: ¿En qué te da una mano?

off topic:Here is some wonderful stats for u
Anyone remembers when was the last time Brazil recorded a win against Mexico??From My Memory (in recent past)
Mexico 1 Brazil 0(Confederations cup 2005)
Mexico 2 Brazil 0(Copa America 2007)
Mexico 2 Brazil 0(Recent friendly)
Mexico 2 Brazil 1(Olympics final)
And when was the last time Mexico Recorded win against us???
Argentina 1(6) Mexico 1(5)(2005 Confederations shotout)
Argentina 2 Mexico 1(WC 2006)
Argentina 5 Mexico 0(prior to WC 2010)
Argentina 3 Mexico 1(WC 2010)
Yipeee...Brazil again failed in the Olympics…..With that said Argentina and France are the only two national teams that have won the three most important men's titles recognized by FIFA: the World Cup, the Confederations Cup, and the Olympic tournament. They have both also won their respective continental championship (Copa América for Argentina, and UEFA European Football Championship for France)

Piatti had a bigger name, went to a smaller club, never really panned out for him. I am not worried about his development. Monaco is a club with a rich history(Gallardo was great for them), they will be back in top flight futbol.

He is very lucky to go to Monaco and not a miserable other clubs in Eastern Europe. He will play there for about 2-3 years and move onto a bigger club. And he is going to Monaco, Monaco is an amazing amazing place. I am sure he will pick up the French language, and have a ball in Monte Carlo. Don't worry, if he is happy mentally(Which I ASSURE you, he will be happy in a place like Monaco, trezeguet already told him he will have a good time in the beautiful country of City/Monaco) he will express himself on the pitch.

No matter how 'average' some think Ocampos is yet going to play in France second-division at this age is something I can't understand. There are hundreds of so called 'smaller clubs' he could go to play for in Europe but at least in a league more competitive than the French second division! I had a similar reaction when Sergio Romero went to play in Serie B of Italia. I don't understand a bit what they are looking for playing in the second divisions in Europe when they could go play somewhere much better.

LOL, why are people overly worried about some 18 year old kid? Just because you have seen a couple YouTube videos did not mean he was out of this world. Saviola was the second coming Diego, went to a big club after being SA Player of the year, had a decent career at Barca. He is only 18 and time will only tell, where he will go. Ronaldinho went to PSG when PSG was not a big club and turned his way.

Any kid that has talent will be picked up. Dybala went from the 2nd division in Argentina to Palermo. If Ocampos is as good as advertised(As most of the riBer fans, there were times where he would make you want to pull your hair out) he will do fine. Not everybody at 18,19,20 become world stars like Messi,Kun. It will take time.

I am okay with the move. No big deal.

one cant blame a player for wanting a move and the $$ offered is always far far more then will ever be offered by stying home in argentina.
its simple economics and if any of us were offerd to double, triple and some times far more our wages im cant imagine to many of us would take the moral high ground and say no thank you.

@Mr.D - totally agree. We need to keep young players in la primera longer as its hurting both the player and the evolution of the Argentine soccer culture/style. We are a nation of mercenaries.

I think people are a bit quick to hand out verdicts on this stuff before the results are even in.

Iturbe went to Porto last year. Was that a good move? Sounded like it...and then he got no time on the pitch (though he's looked great in pre-season). The main thing players need is playing time against quality opposition. They need to learn, they need to be able to make mistakes and not immediately get yanked off of the pitch for doing so. Remember he's still a teenager. He's not going to be in the starting line up of an elite team this year.

Last year Ocampos was in Argentina's 2nd division. Is that of a higher quality than the French 2nd division? I have no idea as I've never watch a Ligue 2 game in my life but I'm going to guess that since Ligue 1 is of a higher quality than La Primera that logically Ligue 2 is better than Nacional B. If Monaco gets promoted this year and Ocampos has solidified his starting spot in the team will have turned out to be a good move? Probably but we won't know for awhile. If they don't go up and he has a great year maybe he'll move to a better team.

Personally, I'd prefer for him to stay art River for at least a year but that doesn't appear to be in the cards.

I have no idea if this is good move but I do know I like it better than Argentina's young talent rotting on the bench at some big club like Chelsea or Real Madrid which to me has been the main roadblock to the development of Argentina's young talent over the last few years.
