Fiorentina sign Gonzalo RODRIGUEZ

Italian team Fiorentina has signed Gonzalo RODRIGUEZ from Villarreal.

Fiorentina announced the following on their official website:
"Fiorentina announces the aquisition of Borja Valero IGLESIAS and Gonzalo Javier RODRIGUEZ from Villareal Club and Alberto AQUILANI from Liverpool Football Club".

RODRIGUEZ once captained Villarreal before their relegation to the second division in Spain.

Gonzalo like Gaby Milito were on top of their respective games..and then they both got BAD injuries.
Gonzalo has never looked the same since. Hopefully that will change...and he returns to being the defender we all knew.

I have mixed feeling toward this transfer .. Hopefully Gonzalo becomes what he first was !!

He used to be very gud he was the captain of Villariel once i donnow what happens with some of our defenders they do start brilliantly then they somewhat fade along the way .But any how Italian league will help Gonzalo hope he do play gud
