Al Wasl fires Diego MARADONA as coach

The UAE club Al Wasl has officialy announced the release of Diego MARADONA.

MARADONA, along with his entire coaching staff were fired by the club on Tuesday. MARADONA's club finished in 8th position in the league and lost the Gulf Clubs Championship final on penalty kicks. They were also eliminated in the quarter final stages of the President's and Emirates Cups.

wait, at first I really thought that Diego want to leave, but now am sure that he want to leave and then he went back in his words .. I believe they'll give him another 6 months !!

Now Maradona wants his job with Al Wasl back and wants "to talk" with them. Deja vu all over again.

haha sandy,
its kind of true on Maradona as a coach but then again he got us to the 1/4 finals of the w.c and for those who dont remember we failed to qualify for one w.c, in 2002 we were humilated and knocked out in the 1st round as we were in 74.

Maradona is the best Argentine player and the worst Argentine coach i have ever seen. i would alo say that he is the best player and worst coach i have ever seen!
