Inter Milan presents Rodrigo PALACIO

On Thursday, Inter Milan unveiled their latest Argentinian signing, Rodrigo PALACIO.

Speaking at the press conference, PALACIO had this to say about joining Inter Milan:

"Nothing materialised last year, but the important thing is being here now. With STRAMACCIONI I just spoke, he welcomed me and for my teammates I will get to know them day by day."

"Inter are a great team and we will fight on all fronts, we hope to celebrate many successes at the end of the year. I have not talked about technical issues with the team yet, after my signing, I have only just been welcomed here."

With Mauro ZARATE's loan deal over and Diego FORLAN officialy out, Rodrigo PALACIO should get playing time this season. PALACIO is now the sixth Argentinian player with Inter Milan (there could be a total of seven should Matias SILVESTRE sign). The others being Javier ZANETTI, Ricardo ALVAREZ, Esteban CAMBIASSO, Diego MILITO and Walter SAMUEL.

Monzon is a kind of player that we rarely produce. He scored 10 goals with Nice in his first season, no to mention that he was given the role to take set pieces.

With his power and accuracy, the young man could be an advantage to any club he joins. Honestly, I see him as the best option for our LB position based on his recent performance.

I also heard they are going after Monzon...i have to be very honest besides the olympics and a few boca games he looked good but i have not followed him near enough to state his current form. I am guessing for Inter to be showing interest he had to catch the eye. This is good as inter is known for being a nice place for Argentines.
