Its hard to say where Roman will go. In fact, even though he is saying that he won't play for Boca again, he could change his mind. You never know with JRR !

@Haman-I'm sure you are as disappointed as I am. I think in general the attack broke down.

Silva can be ineffective at times, and could have received a red card for a forearm shiver to the head of a defender in the area. Of course, he has saved Boca's butt frequently throughout the season. I see Mouche as the only player with pace among Boca's strikers which is why he plays up front instead of Cvitanich. But Mouche is wildly inconsistent as well.

As for Chavez, I've never liked him much. If Roman couldn't handle the pressure last night, Chavez wasn't going to. Erviti had a great match in the first leg, and Boca has nobody to replace Somoza except Erbes, who isn't half the player Somoza is.

As for Roman leaving Boca...well...where has Roman ever been happy ?! He's a tremendous player and just as big a pain in the butt. He absolutely must have everything his way. He doesn't like taking direction from any coach. He's talking all his Bostero nonsense and will likely run off to China, or elsewhere, for a boatload of money and then blame Falcioni for ending his Boca days. He's a hypocrite and a brat. I love his game, but his personality is just as bad as his game is good.

I didn't like his substitutions, keeping Silva who committing fouls for every ball he receives and replaced Mouche who had good performance and was able to pass Corintians defenders. Chaves was left on the bench, he could've add some creativity to the midfield and help releasing the pressure that was on Roman. Not forgetting Ervitti who didn't start the match in form, Mino was an option.
It was obvious that Boca's oldies couldn't compete with Brazilian youngsters, therefore, younger plyers would've been a better option than Ervitti and Somoza.

At the end, we know that Orion's injury changed the flow of the game, so who's the one to blame!

C'mon my man Haman !! Falcioni is a great coach. Making it to the finals of the Copa Libertadores is not easy to do. He has been able to bring stability to Boca after they were a freakin' mess for three years. And do that while keeping diva Roman close to happy and productive.

The backup keeper Sosa didn't have much chance. Emerson was left one on one with him for both goals.

I like both Somoza and Schiavi, though Schiavi has definitely not been as good this season as opposed to last. And, a horrible mistake by him last night.

So, I'm sad Boca faltered at the end, but Corinthians played better last night. They didn't allow Boca to move the ball as they like, pressured, Boca lost their composure, their spacing stunk and...defeat.

A sluggish performance form Boca gave away the Libertadores to Corinthians.

Now Roman is deciding to leave Boca as he is incapable of keeping up his top performance!

What he's done to Boca and Argentina is more than enough. "Gracias Roman"

Orion left the match injured and replaced by the young Uruguayan S. Sosa who couldn't keep his sheet cleaned and conceded a brace by the veteran Emerson.
Thanks to Somoza who injured orion and was the flop of the match along with Schiavi. No more overaged!

Boca need to work on their youth system like River plate and find a better coach.

Falcioni #fail

I was impressed by Monzon when watching 08 Olympics. His attacking is great. He is fast, which is particular important if the CBs are slow. Hope that he will learn how to defend in Serie A.

Those youngsters are 2018's prospect after gaining some experience. "future"

What we have in hand now names like, Pastore, Lamela, Gaitan, Alvarez, M. Suarez, Alejandro Gomez, Matias. Rodrigues, Canteros, L. Lpoez "Arsenal", Mino, Monzon, Insua, Ansaldi.
All those names must be giving a shot in friendlies to prove them selves in order to complete the squad with the best available options.

About time Silvestre's performances were recognized. It took enough time for Argentina's management to be aware of Campagnaro.

Perhaps this will be just the move to make Sabella aware of a mature defender that could be a candidate for 2014.

Musacchio is another Internazionale target who is more deserving of a spot in the seleccion than Garay.

Fernandez needs to get a full season at Napoli this season too.

As for Iturbe, Ocampos, Lanzini they are too young for 2014 and all three have a lot of improving to do in regards to their game.

They have ability but that alone is insufficient.

Thats nice, lets see what he has to offer!

@Roy I'd really like if there is an overview of our youth prospect or the promising talents we have in our disposal.

With the likes of Lamela, Iturbe, Ocampos and Lanzini, I see a bright future for the Argentine football.
Imagining how would it look if they play together under a management of a brilliant coach alongside Messi, how would look like?
