caniggia was a winger that could play lwft wing right wing same again up front in a front 3 and also played as a forward he was like dimaria crossed with cloudio lopez he wasnt a natural striker more a winger but his vision and speed allowed him to play up front

have you noticed messi copys some of the things he did and the way he changes direction at high speed is very like caniggia I LOVED THIS GUY I WAS EVEN GOING TO NAME MY SON AFTER HIM

was cloudio lopez faster maybe ids love to see a race betwen them fastest players i ever seen play are lopez and caniggia

By the way off the topic. What a penalty by Andrea pirlo against England in such a pressure situation ,Classyyyy.they say legends r special.Pirlo is indeed special player.for me hes better than xavi.Italy deserved to win they played brilliantly through out the match.Germany vs Italy now wowwww other semi i dont have any interest.i hate both spain and portugal.glad that england got out

And i think Higuain cannot be called as a typical number 9.he plays little but deeper but he is gud in air, drbbles too and has strength ,all qualities of a number 9 but still not a typical number 9, and ofcourse aguero who plays even deeper.infact we dont have a proper number 9 like Hernan Crespo. But no pblms we have enough firepower in the attack.

@soumya - Cannigia and Higuain are very different. Higuain is closer to Batistuta in style of play. Cannigia was incredibly fast, great hard working player, incredible stamina and smooth finisher. He reminds me more of a blend of the early Henry mixed with the running of Jonas Guiterres. Perfect complement for Maradona as he was very good at making runs for Maradonas impossible through balls.

Well the good news is he isn't a former Estudiantes player so it is unlikely Sabella will select him. :)
