@fesa-Clemente is right footed, but uses the left well.

me reckons, the team is doing alright, tot dats should b more x'perimentation against ecuador?
dun forget, dis game ,they 're x'pected to win easily.
Clemente r 're ok,he 've not being in the nt for quite a while but i like him.suppose sosa cannot b used as a creative player, gotta used him as a runner/destroyer.
can anybody tells me is clemente rodrigues a right/left footed player?
always reckon AFA team is the most balance team in the world, with the all their natural left legger player?
they 've more than their quota of left footed talent!

Here is the rating according to Ole:

11-M. Rodríguez (-): No tuvo tiempo para nada.

Sosa made back passes more than all other players in just 25 minutes or so. I count them. It is his signature move...

Hmmm may be Matias Roderiguez will be played against Brazil and Zabaleta in left....lets see if hes selected what he gonna bring to the table...ANZALDI,,INSUA...have been said soooo many times in rumour lineups but both has never featured for us in recent games...

I'd like to see Ansaldi for Clemente. Sosa as a sub. Zabaleta while not world class has plenty of room for improvement. If Sabella gave Sosa all these chances then he better give Zabby a few more. I'd also like to see other fullbacks display their talent. Overall we had a great team. One that made People fall in love with the national squad or at least that's what diario Clarin quoted :)

Overall as a group you guys rated Lavezzi better than Sosa and we all know that's not fair. I'm all for the Sosa bashing but it's his best performance thus far.

My match preview :
.Now i will explain in player wise...............
GK S.ROMERO(rating-7.0):he had nothing to do in first half.but in second half he saves two shots.
CB F.FARNANDEZ(rating-7.5):he done a really good job.he had some excellent block.definitely the best defender on the the night.
CB E.GARAY(rating-7.5): he also done a good job. one great heading stop.
RB P.ZABALETA(rating-6.0):not a great game.he is good in defense but very poor in offense. he gave some foul also.
LB C.RODRIGUEZ(rating-5.5):flop player in the field foe albiceleste. he was not going in forward.often give ball in defense.very poor game.
DM J.MASHCHERANO(rating-6.5):average game for him.but often stop flow of attack of Ecuador.
CM F.GAGO(rating-6.5): not a great game.
CAM DI MARIA(rating-8.0):great game. 1 assist and 1 goal.very good chip to aguero then another chip to higuain but he could not finish it.then a very good volley to score 4-0.
CAM L.MESSI(rating-8.5):must be man of the match.excellent game 1assist and 1 goal.he often test opposition goal keeper.leading in the front.
CF S.AGUERO(rating-7.5):good finish at start.then excellent team up with leo and papita.
CF G.HIGUAIN(rating-7.5):another great game.good finish and good assist to leo.good game.
SUB:
CM J.SOSA(rating-6.5):good game coming from sub.good assist to di maria.
CF E.LAVEZZI(rating-6.0):let sub but he test opposition defender.
CAM M.RODRIGUEZ(rating-5.5): N/A.
So In this match defense was average, midfield was below average but attack was excellent.now against Brazil matias should come for clemente and zabaleta should play as left back.

Hmmm before reaching further conclutions...lets see what our full backs gonna do against brazil....brazil will be a great test for our defenders and midfield...sometimes mistakes happen....so lets see wheather zabaleta or clemente both have learned something or not....eagerly waiting for the big test...but have to say all in all a great performance...the players is slowly geling up they r getting familiar more to each other...congrats

There are 3 players in this line up that were crap in this game
pablo Zabaleta Not good at all, mediocre, caught out so frequently that it looked appear that he was invisibe..attacking outlet 0
C.Rodriguez He was so poor that he does not deserve to be in Latvia NT
Mashcherano Playing horribly in midfield for quite a while now Fernandez,Gago,Messi,Di Maria,Aguero was world class today

sabella on the right track i think zab was so bad and clementie not much better gago is one fine ball player and needs to man up his a great deep 1/4 back type

the ideas are there and i think theres a eliment of bielsa type all action speed attacks a gago and a dimaria are better for this than a roman or veron we need better outside defense even going more solid would held dont really need over lapping wing backs

ddr1123 a good wite up.
our full backs are a problem and zab has had enough chances with the n/t and sadly is not good enough at this level.
subs sabella got these very wrong and at 4-0 this is when a lamera, pastore or xxx player should be tried.
mash to either as a cb or dont play him.
i was fustrated about how many balls we lost through bad passing-this is simply not good enough at this level and its not like we were under pressure.

Romero - I like him. Decent. Tall, big. The best we have got.

Federico - Like him a lot so far. Great aerial threat. Can score also for corners and set pieces.

Garay - Good. Hope they pair up well. Tall, good at set pieces (though he won't get a chance). Slow.

Zabaleta - Will do better I think. Still have hope.

Clemente - Not good at all. Need to find someone.

Mascherano - Nothing new to say. He is great and indispensable.

Gago - Like him. Plays good for NT.

Dimaria - Good. Seal the place.

Messi - What to say. He will grow leaps and bounds for NT.

Pipita - Again does very well for NT.

Kun - Great for NT. Links up well with Messi.

Maxi - He is over. Should try others instead, like Tino Costa.

Sosa - If he plays 15 mins, I do not care.

Lavezzi - Very good. Lost of speed. Finishing not so good.

Overall good day. I will in NY next Saturday. So hope to see a good game.

Clemente and Zabaleta both did not replicate their club form for country. They were kind of struggling against the pacy Ecuadorian wingers.

I'm opting for young bloods in the full-backs. Since there are strong calls for Monzon and Matias Rodriguez, i shall follow as well. Even though i have never seen them play.

Federico Fernandez
Fernando Gago
Lionel Messi

3 best players in my opinion in 3 areas.

Why can't Zabeleta play like he does for Man city???
