The Eagles Are World Champions!!!

It is called rink hockey or roller hockey (played on roller blades). Argentina has a long tradition of dominating in this sport and the spiritual home for this game is located in the province of San Juan.

Yesterday the Eagles as they are known, won their fourth title after defeating France 5-1 in the final held in the city of Alcobendas, Spain. They were unbeaten throughout the tournament scoring a whopping 40 goals (only conceding one goal which happens to be in the final).

Just like their counterpart in the field hockey, it was another Luciana who was named as the best player in the tournament. Luciana AGUADO took the MVP of the tournament award.

We at Mundo Albiceleste would like to congratulate Las Aguilas on their achievement.
