We have goals from Italy, Portugal and Ukraine in this one. A finalist at the 2014 FIFA World Cup with Argentina, Ricardo “Ricky” ALVAREZ scored earlier today for Sampdoria in their 2-0 win against AC Milan. About 20 seconds after coming on as a substitute, ALVAREZ scored to seal the victory for Sampdoria.

Jumping to Portugal, Franco CERVI for Benfica in their 2-0 win against FErreira. That goal was CERVI’s first of the season for his club.

Paulo DYBALA wasn’t the only man from Argentina to score twice for his club over the weekend as Facundo FERREYRA scored two times in Shakhtar’s 4-2 win against Zirka.

  1. Yesterday Sampaoli was on River – Argentinos (1:1) to watch Pinola, Maidana, Nacho, Enzo and Pity Martinez. But once again the best was Barboza.

    • Maidana? This guy shouldn’t be near the national team. If Sampaoli calls up Maidana to National Team that will be foolish act from him. Maidana is good for nothing, so he doesn’t deserve to be in the squad. When there are younger defenders who are better than this old man, what is the point of calling him up to the team? It will be a football crime if Maidana takes part in the qualifiers. Hands down!

  2. Ricky Alvarez? Back in 2013 & 14 he was one of the players I expected great career from but eventually he couldn’t live up to those expectations and his career had become disastrous. Now he is in his late 20s and he can refresh his career but it’s very LATE.
