Hey everyone,

Here are some of HIGUAIN’s latest quotes.  He’s said this after all the criticism he had received in the last few months.

“I get criticized for failing on a one-on-one, but i’ll never doubt what I am.  I was really unlucky with what happened. There’s people that lay bricks incorrectly and I don’t say anything; I know very well what I did.”

  5. Our problem with this dude is not that he couldn’t convert winning chances in 3 finals, more about his spirit lacking….he never fights when it matters, no true grit like what we see from other players of other national teams. That is the main issue with him, aguero, biglia, and Di Maria.

      • Add Messi to those names. Look back at the last Copa final. Around the 50th minute Messi start showing signs he has given up. He looks at the grass, his facial expression shows his belief in victory is gone. A true captain would roll up his sleeves and encourage everyone to show an ‘over my dead body’ attitude. ‘We’re not gonna lose again to those Chileans.’ But no. Messi, Aguero and Di Maria have won a lot of prizes with their clubs but lack a winner’s mentality. It came too easy for them. It things don’t go their way, they give up in stead of work harder. Dybala is different. You can see it in his eyes.

        • You know what? My friends and I knew Argentina will lose the final around the 50 minute too. If you did not knew it until the game finished, you are a type of person who has a dull head. Messi is the best soccer player in the world because he reads the football game and has a keen eye for football. Can you win a game with a striker, who misses a 1 on 1 in every final matches (2014-2015-2016) and a stupid coach (Martino) and red card collector-Rojo and brainless Di Maria and simple-minded Aguero. If your coach had put Messi in Higuain’s position, Argentina would have achieved at least one trophy in the last three years. Oops! I forgot that Messi cannot play upfront in the NT because he is a play-maker surrounded by 3 opponents. Sorry 🙂

          Messi is very competitive and has a strong desire of winning. That’s how he is the best football player for 10 years. His desire for winning is more strong with Argentina National football team than in Barca. If you observed his facial expression in the matches, you could see. The truth is without Messi, Argentina national football team is the same with the UK national football team. People over the world say Argentina National football team is nothing good WITHOUT Messi.

          So, if you have time to doubt about Messi’s desire for winning and his patriotism, think how to eliminate Higuian, Di Maria, and Aguero. If there is one person who is dying for trophy in the NT, that is Lionel Messi. It is obvious.

I will always be appreciative of what he’s done for the NT (4 goals in the WC10, the goal against Belgium, 10 goals in the WCQ etc….) but his time (and that of Aguero and Dimaria) has come and gone and it’s time to move on because at the end of the day it is Argnetina’s front line that has failed and not it’s defense or midfield or Romero.

My question to everyone how many chances created by argentina MF and how many times Higuain miss the target, it can happens with anyone(Messi Dybala Icardi Suarez Cr7) the fact is Argentina suffer in 4-3-3 combination under Tata in pressure match due to poor MF but we fans can blame Higuain to express our frastation or i can say Higuain is the soft target. Like it or not the harsh truth is quite clear that higuain is currently our best available striker in terms of overall attributes and club form(of course unaccounting icardi)…on top of that,the chemistry he’s building with dybala should give him the edge to start..lets see how he performs here on
    In my opinion, pratto wouldn’t work too well if he starts as our wingbacks are practically futile during attack thus makes our wing play poor

    I think I’d give him another chance to prove himself in this qualifying campaign)

    It’s showing 11 hours remaining. But searched in Internet I found match is on 6th October. That means in India should be 7th October.
    I am totally confused! Kindly help me.

      • yes it’s not just the three misses, but the offside position he puts himself often and in crucial times…..world class striker avoids that….David villa was sold by barca when he failed to get out of the offside trap.
