Manuel LANZINI out of Rio, PAVON in

Manuel Lanzini

A blow for Argentina as Manuel LANZINI will not be going to Rio.

Julio OLARTICOECHEA will not be able to count on Manuel LANZINI for Rio as he’s been ruled out due to a knee injury which he sustained in the friendly match against Colombia. West Ham’s physio Stijn VANDENBROUCKE also commented on LANZINI’s injury. Here’s what he had to say:
“We are in contact with Manuel and the Argentine Football Association. We want him to return and be evaluated by our staff as soon as possible.”

While not confirmed yet, there are reports that Cristian PAVON of Boca Juniors will replace him.

Conechny and Martinez 2:0 in 27 minutes.

Not a big fan of this lad, but he was the only attacking minded player besides Lo Celso with a relaxed style. Unfortunately Lo Celso and Calleri play so far way below their standards, Correa like an asshole (a shame with his phenomenal talent, should kick his ass). Not a good perspective.

If Werner goes to Atletico he’ll be another bench warmer for years. (at least 5) Please no!

Gonzalo, Barco’s dribbling style seem to be like Iturbe’s isn’t it ? Tremendous acceleration and pace. Maybe he’ll be a more complete and intelligent player.

Ezequiel Ponce scored a lot of goals in the preseason so far.

Argentina win 2:0 with Qatar. Without Vadala.

This is it what I mean “relaxed style” of Lanzini and Lo Celso. We need balanced team with runners, dribblers and players like the two above.

Barco dribbling is rather like Messi for me. Why? Because Messi keeps the ball very close in sprint when Iturbe quite differnt and by this reason he is often losing a ball.

So I must to see on Ponce
