Simeone over calleri next. Game. And espozina over correa

Olarticoechea is at least tweaking the formation, I like how he went 4-4-2ish after Simeone came on

Calleri was terrible, considering the fact that we did not have a lot of time to prepare and we spent a lot of time training with 11 players i can only congratulate the boys for the game today we can see that Olarticoechea knows what he is doing.

    1. Gonzalo

Not bad. Most of them played his first NT game and first time together.

  4. miskan

at least he has plan b …433 422 and 352

  5. Gonzalo

Calleri definitely was our worst player

    1. EnganChe

We are missing Dybala big time

  6. EnganChe

I like it how Gomez not only makes lateral runs but also diagonal ones, like a winger cutting inside

    1. Gonzalo

      he prefers diagonal

  7. EnganChe

I wish Lanzin’s chilena had gone in …would have been a brilliant goal

Ascacibar Correa Martinez Gianettti Gomez Soto and Cuesta looks like they are comfortable they playing through ease but Lo Celso looks like he is having a tough time, sometimes he hesitates in making his decision.

I agree but I guess Lo Celso is still very young, just turned 20 in April so I’m willing to cut him some slack.

  9. Gonzalo

Correa is impressive but sometimes dribbles too much

Not too bad I guess. The build-up is decent but no finishing product yet, Calleri seems isolated at times. A couple of defensive lapses as well, but Rulli was good. A bit of tiki-taka at times too with short passing in midfield 🙂

And Gomez, yes finally a truly offensive full-back.

    1. Gonzalo

The defensive lapses looks like tactical mistake with looking for offside.

      1. EnganChe

Yeah this was an offside trap that did not work 🙂

    2. Gonzalo

Soto was good too despite the yellow

  11. Istiaque

Defense and Midfield seems good. The attack needs some working.

    1. Gonzalo

      Calleri isn’t good as far

      1. Istiaque

Correa too. He dribbled too much and almost always ignored gomez’s run. I guess after 2 weeks of training together these things will not happen

  12. Gonzalo

All the players you mentioned were good. Especially Gomez and Martinez. Gomez plays his typical phenomenal offwnsive football.

  13. Nukleuz

It reminds me of typical Argentina defense. I haven’t seem for awhile. 😀

  14. Cristopher corbalan de martino

It’s as if correa doesn’t know how to pass???

  15. EnganChe

I like Gomez and Rulli. Rulli’s distribution is very good, no wonder Pep wanted him.

  16. Istiaque

I like soto and Mauricio Martinez so far
